Personality: He is polite and kind when he is in a good mood. Talkative even and will spend time with people when he has free time. However, when you caught him when he is stressed out or tired, he can be a bit more short and harsh. Never an ideal time to talk to him after finding out the estate ran out of coffee that morning. Just don’t do it. He thrives to help people and his goal to normalize the mythcials, even if it’s just through his books or small ways. Lark tries to show appreciation to his staff with bonuses, parties, and including them to events (just don’t get discovered). Once a week or so, he will even have dinner with his staff just to show that he doesn’t think they are below him in any way. He is rather a softie and he is always worried about disappointing the people he cares about. Although, he doesn’t like looking insecure and sensitive so he hides it behind trying to be cold at times and uncaring at times even though he is probably going to go sulk about it later.

History: Had a normal upbringing with his family, although his parents drove him to excel in life and to try to impress the family. If a human is born in his family, they have to earn becoming a vampire. After all, they have to make sure they are prolonging an unless or evil person. Lark has not been invited to join yet but he isn’t sure if he truly wants to. Living forever just sounds like it would be difficult and an eternity of working to support his causes and support everyone else. He has been put in charge of his childhood home, Crescentwood Manor to help prove this but also… It was the only way to prevent the estate from being sold off when his parents moved away. He mostly only recruits those in need into his staff since the town is a bit less.. Strict about having inhumans around so it makes it safer when his staff goes out. Some might even look past it if anything ever looked slightly suspicious as well. He hasn’t regretted his decisions (mostly) and he even quite enjoys his time at the manor. The holidays are probably his favorite times though because it’s nice to see everyone excited and a bit more cheerful usually.

Personality: A loner, partly by choice, but mostly out of fear and the will to survive. It's hard to trust people after being left behind (not by choice most times, however) and after being attacked in the past on when she lived in Aeston. She does get quite lonely with no one around so sometimes she will go into town to the library or the cafe when it's not crowded. She just tends to stick to the corners and watch from afar sometimes but Katie doesn't make the effort to approach. While she may appear human with her contacts, she still has that anxiety inside of not being accepted and it was only a matter of time for anyone to find out the truth anyway. Despite this, she does quite long for friendship and if one was to talk to her it could go any way. Most likely Katheryne will shy away but there is the chance of her actually willing to have a chat. She tries to occupy herself since she lives alone in a house within Leck's Forest so she spends a lot of time watching something, practicing hobbies, and working. History: She was abandoned by her family when she was young but too young to truly remember. All she remembers is her life with Belinda and growing up in her care until her Nana passed away from old age. After that, Katheryne left on her own and tried to survive in the forest as she has heard of others doing in the past. The werewolf managed to scrape by for a while before coming across a ghost in the forest. From there, perhaps it was only a friendship because the two were lonely, they made an agreement for her to move into his old family home that was kind of ran down. She grew to enjoy the spirit but eventually, he reached a place of peace and moved on to join his family wherever that was. Alone again, Katheryne lived in the empty house trying to fix it up the best she could without access to shops or anything. Eventually, she would have another chance encounter from her singing once again but this time it became a business agreement. A member of one of the wealthier families was taking a walk in the forest where she was and he heard her singing, offering her originally a placed to live in exchange for her performing for events or whatever was needed. Apparently, their old one had left and Larkin found her voice remarkable enough, although it could use a little work. Eventually, they worked out that he would pay her to perform and get her voice lessons weekly. He gave her a phone that he would take out of her payment as a way for the two to communicate and she has worked a little bit since. She used the money to fix up the house and get grey contacts, plus basics things that she needed. (More will be revealed later in the rp)
Werewolf Transformation: Every night before and after the full moon, Katheryne will sometimes sporadically transform into a wolf during the night. During the day, she is often a little on edge and easily irritated. When the full moon comes up, Katheryne will transform into her wolf counterpart and have to fight for her sanity (which I will determine with some dice rolling). She usually goes outside in the forest and walks far away from the town, to avoid any accidents should they occur.
On New Moons, she can't transform at all. Which is a blessing, or could be a curse in some circumstances.

Personality: Elysia might seem like a plastic get it hehe when you see her walk by but she is not as plastic as they come different once you actually get to know her. Of course, she is naturally very mischievous so she will find trouble one way or another. Elysia can’t help but tease or torture those she cares about at least a little bit. History: Grew up in a wealthy family that is close to the Stokers, so she often saw everyone at the manor growing up too. Often refers to Lark and his siblings as cousins, despite having no relations that would make them so. Her great grandmother told her stories about those who had stronger fae blood in their family, which seems to happen every few generations. Elysia was told that the only way to wake the magic inside her up was to find true love. Of course, she assumed true love would be at first sight so she never really dated anyone because she never felt anything magical awake inside her when they met. That didn’t stop her from looking though and commenting on how cute or attractive some strangers (and people at the manor) was. After a bet was made last time she visited the estate, it’s been a while since she had actually come by since someone was mad at her for a while and maybe still mad, knowing him. During this time, her parents arranged a marriage for her since “having a family is important” and that she was being too picky and would never end up with anyone otherwise. They thought the whole fae thing was silly and often tries to explain away Elysia’s exotic looks as weird genetic defects. Even just explaining away the fact Elysia can’t seem to blemish or scar. Of course, she was also never able to prove herself and the only person who would defend her has been gone for a while now. So she decided before her marriage, she would visit the estate for possibly the last time (or at least the last time alone). She made this deal with her parents with the deal that she would inform and invite the Stokers to her wedding. Elysia isn’t sure if she will hold up that side of the bargain yet, but only time will tell what is in store for her.

physical attributes
coming in standing in at 5'8" is my boy bennie. this boy has two different forms that he can switch between, the first being his human form. as a human benjamin bears soft, light brown curls on his head and a kind face. there's a few freckles that bridge his nose, shoulders, arms, and hands. his eyes are also a soft calf brown. beware the puppy dog eyes this boy bears! benjamin really enjoys to wear casual clothing whenever possible, often being able to be found in a oversized, super soft sweaters and sweatshirts. alongside the sweaters and sweatshirts he'll wear jeans or sweatpants when its cooler out. if it's warm benji can be seen wearing a simple t-shirt and shorts, maybe even with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. honestly, this guy just loves anything soft and fuzzy.

now, when it comes to benjamins true form, things take a complete 180 looks wise. suddenly you're met with a super soft and furry creature, who honestly just gives great hugs. his fur is a dark navy blue color with contrasting crimson red eyes, which he has six of. he has two main eyes centered on his face, which are quite large compared to regular human eyes. above and below each eye, at the end, is another eyeball roughly the size of a regular humans eye. for the right eye these extra eyes are to the right, and for the left eye the extra eyes are to the left. the extra eyes are near the corners of his two main eyes. to be clear, three eyes on each side of his face, the big main one, a small one above, then a small one below, each small one at the end of the eye. six eyes in total. the sclera of his eyes are a dark crimson red, and his irises are a slightly darker red than the sclera, and his pupils are black. he doesn't really have a nose either, rather there's a curve on his face where a nose should be, although his face his covered in fur so it doesn't much matter. next benny has two chelicera (aka pincers or mandibles) that curve outward from either side of his mouth, and curve to be in front of his mouth. differing from the current ref, he doesn't have any extra arms or legs. the rest of his body in this form is completely human save for the fur.

abilities
speaking with arachnids: pretty much being an arachnid himself, it's only fitting that benjamin is able to communicate with them as well. spiders tend to hold pretty juicy gossip, especially those who live in the manor >:3, however they also provide him with a means of friendship or a way to stay in contact with the outside world. it's not uncommon to find benjamin seemingly talking in a hushed manner to no one.

sticky fingers: a confusing name, i know, but this power causes his hands and feet to become sticky, allowing him to cling to walls or the ceiling, as well as allows for objects he's holding to be held securely without the danger of being dropped and broken.

shifting: ironically, the tarantula boy cannot shift into a tarantula. this power gives benjamin the ability to change into a more human looking form, one that isn't furry all over or doesn't have six eyes! this form allows him to blend in with regular humans, although benjamin has mentioned that this form feels like and itchy costume.

limitations
speaking with arachnids: benjamin can only speak with arachnids and no other animal. so, he can speak with spiders, tarantulas, and scorpions

sticky fingers: really the only thing that holds him back with this power is weight. if he's clung to a wall or ceiling he can typically hold on for a good while by himself, unless he's tired or the sort. if he has another person with him then it can be harder for him to stay connected to the wall or ceiling. if he's holding a delicate object that he doesn't want to drop and break, then the same rule applies to how much it weighs and if he's grasping it with his palm and fingers, or just his fingers.

shifting: ever since he was young benjamin has always had trouble with maintaining his human form. to him, it feels hot and itchy to be in. the longest he has stayed as a human is around two hours, however, usually benjamin has to shift back within an hour. because of this, he doesn't tend to enter town and stays on the manor grounds.

personality
benjamin is a sweetheart to say the least. full of wonder and curiosity this boy can find appreciation in the littlest of things from the changing of the seasons to the people who surround him in his daily life. he likes to try and see the best in everybody and everything around him, even if it seems like there may not be any. this can be a downfall of his, though, as he prefers finding the good in others rather than focusing on the bad that presents itself. he can be easy to walk over and use, and he may not even realize it when someone is doing just that. this flaw has found him in a few toxic relationships before that he struggled to get out of, and even after he tried to believe that there was something good to find in those who use him. it's as if he has blinders on, trying to ignore the bad. despite this, he is actually quite an attentive person, seeming to notice the smallest of details in everyday life that usually may get glossed over. being attentive also makes him quite a good listener, so you better bet he'll remember what someone's favorite of something is even if it's only mentioned once and months ago. benjamin is a little bit on the shy side, being somewhat quiet, but despite that, he's a friendly person and is always willing to make new friends. he can be a little emotional at times, though, mostly when it comes to subjects that upset him. he may get overemotional because of a sad movie or about what someone said to him. part of him is emotion-driven, which can either be good or bad depending on the situation. hurt him, he'll get all sad boy, hurt his friends and he'll be ready to punch somebody. there is a good part of these overemotional states he may find himself in, which is he'll be happy and overjoyed by something. he isn't really one to get angry either, just disappointed. not all that hot-headed, unless you mess with someone close to him, he'll simply turn his back on someone and give them the cold shoulder until he or the other party is ready to talk it out.

benji has a love for the little things in life. he enjoys learning about the world and how it works, thus causing him to appreciate the bugs that pollinate flowers or the stars in the night sky. like stated before he likes finding the good in life. benjamin also has a love for cooking. he likes to make all his own meals and snacks and gets excited whenever someone wants to try out what he makes. he knows many recipes by heart as he's been cooking for a long time now, he even has a chef hat and his favorite movie is ratatouille, and of course, his favorite chef is gordon ramsey.

born to nadia and richard hawkins in michigan, benjamin lived a very typical life as a child. as an only child he was a little bit spoiled by his parents, but they didn't shower him in all his wants. he was still brought up to be respectful and understanding. as a child he didn't have many friends as he was quite shy around others his age. he was definitely the type to play by himself on the playground. around middle school benji and his family got in a terrible car crash late one night. they had been returning home from vacation and their car had been hit by a semi-truck who had run a red light. benjamin doesn't remember much about the crash, just seeing the semi careening toward them then being in the hospital. his mother died in the crash and his father while in surgery. young benjamin didn't understand his feelings or what had happened. all he knew is that his parents were gone and he was now in the care of his aunt and uncle whom he'd only met a few times. he was whisked away to north carolina where he met his aunt, uncle, and two cousins. it took a few years for benji to adjust to his new and different life, but eventually he came to grips with his circumstances. as well he wasn't all alone anymore. his cousin, nate, was the same age as him, and nicole, only a few years younger felt like his new siblings and friends. while his parents had loved him benji's aunt and uncle loved him just as much.

okay, but seriously, there isn't much to say when it comes to a cat. salem is a tuxedo cat, having black and white marking all over their body. most notably the have white paws, a white chest, a white stomach, and a small area at the tip of their tail that is white. their eyes are an intense yellow color that seem to piece through anyone they look at.

salem here is as sassy as they come, and you better stand back because they will throw around snide remarks directed at anyone who gets too close to them. they come off as being very mighty and proud of themselves, arrogance running in their veins. after all, aren't cats the superior species? salem would argue that he's up there with gods as the egyptians had thought just that, that cats were living embodiments of gods. anyway, salem thinks a little too highly of himself, oftentimes expecting a little too much from the people around him in terms of appreciating his presence. still, he secretly enjoys the company of other people (he still thinks of himself as a person despite no longer being one), though he would rarely, if ever, admit liking those close to him. he doesn't mind spending his time laying in common areas, listening to conversations or engaging in one himself. it isn't hard to get this chatty catty talking, however, what he says may not be what someone wants to hear. this cat is quite the trouble maker as he finds it fun causing a little bit of misery and chaos every now and then. as said above he tends to listen to conversations going on. because of this he has a lot of juicy gossip at his paws, ready to be spread and known to the world. sometimes he purposefully spills secrets that were meant to stay away from someones ears, or he spreads a few lies. when he does something like this he enjoys watching how things ensue. will a fight occur? will someone sob uncontrollably? who knows. in the end the focus of attention is no longer on the cat, as he's completely forgotten as anger or sadness boil over to cause a confrontation. this cat has a way with words, causing him to be mysterious. why he does any of this is simply another reason. he's full of anger, regret, and guilt from his past mistakes. as a cat he has nothing more to lose, so he hurts others around him just to feel better about his own situation. salem tries their best to clamp their hatred towards themselves down, however sometimes it isn't hard to see just how much this cat is struggling with their inner thoughts. it can be tough on him, going unnoticed and being stuck with just himself and his hatred. that's why he actually enjoys talking to people. it's rare as he doesn't try to get too attached, but every once and a while a person comes along whom he connects with. when this happens salem loses the attitude and is able to freely open up. they'll even try to offer up some advice, though they're not the best at giving it. they'll try their hardest anyway! most of the time, though, they keep barriers up and block people out. now, being a cat salem does have a few cat like qualities to them, the first being that they're a little too curious, which may cause them to get into some trouble. while they vehemently deny it, they once tried to get into a cabinet in the kitchen and fell off the counter right into the trashcan. they were stuck for a few hours before someone managed to fish them out. like the saying goes, curiosity kills the cat. in salems case, curiosity keeps on almost killing the cat! salem is also a bit lazy when it comes to pretty much anything. if it doesn't interest or pertain to them, then most likely they'll stay lounging wherever they are!

they miss their opposable thumbs so much, and are too proud to ask for help if they need a door or similar opened for them. they will never admit that they need help, never. sometimes salem can even feel his missing fingers and toes, which have been replaces with toe beans and paws. salem utterly hates being treated like a cat, so much so that they will literally throw a hissy fit if someone ever calls them that. she hates being picked up or manhandled by creatures bigger than her. secretly, though, she enjoys chin scratches. salem also has a disdain toward animals who aren't intellectually smart, especially dogs. she can't stand a drooling dog who only knows how to follow commands. if it can't have a conversation with her then she doesn't want to be near it!

stella is a pretty closed off person to those who do not know her or are not close to her. she builds up walls to keep people away from her. she's untrustworthy of those who try to get close to her, unsure of their motives as to why. she has a cynical view of people and the world, which is one reason as to why she's so hesitant to let people into her life. she's had bad friendships and bad relationships with people who try to use her, and her past is always shadowing over her. because of that she's not just afraid to let people in due to unknown motives, but as well as she doesn't to to feel the pain of losing someone. stella doesn't cope with this in the best way. by putting up walls she forces people away from her before they can get close and possibly hurt, and she may not be the kindest when forcing people away. stella is bitter and she isn't afraid to say or do hurtful things, even if it means getting physically violent with another person. she's hot headed, definitely, with a fierce attitude and venomous speech to go along. because of her tendency to force people away stella has become quite independent, learning how to live her life alone and secluded from others. on the surface she doesn't seem to need others. she knows how to take care of herself. but this temperamental attitude doesn't mean that she doesn't care about other people. sure, there may be people she dislikes or even hate, and she's aggressive toward strangers, but to those who are close to her, really close, they see something else from this woman. stella is like a big sister to those she considers friends and family. fiercely loyal she will be by someone's side until the very end, as long as they do nothing to break her trust. all of stella's relationships are built on trust, it's what she most cares about in people. those who have her trust will still know her to be sarcastic and bitter, but not toward them. she can be trusted with someone's deepest, darkest secrets, and depended on to help someone with anything. there's even a secret soft spot that some may be lucky enough to find underneath her hard exterior.
