The dilute calico blinked light blue eyes, nodding to the other she cat. "I know I will," she told the she cat, then gasped a bit as one kicked.

The happy but wild male twitched black ears, and his tail flicked back and forth a couple times. He said "So, um...where are these rocks you told me of?"

"Good enough for a starter, I suppose." He flicked his tail. "Try it out on me now. Claws out or not; you decide as you attack me." He waved his tail as he waited.

Well since I’m staying in the clan I may as well keep my claws sheathed. Fern thought as she ran at scar and used the technique he had taught her on himself, even going so far as to bite him in the neck, not enough to hurt Skarr obviously. She hated the idea of hurting a cat unless they intended to harm the clan or posed a threat. “How was that Skarr? Iknow my bite and claws can’t do much now. But I’ll be a lot better in four moons.” She said.

He had stayed completely still, letting her perform the move perfectly for her size. His neck wasn't even bleeding as he looked down at the young kit. "Good for starting. Now, this time Ill deflect it. Be ready." He flicked his tail in a signal to her to preform again.

Fern’s eyes looked over the bigger cat. Not the belly. I’m too small to even knock him off his feet. Maybe his chest or his sides...oh quit thinking and do something! Fern thought as she went for his chest. She attempted to sink her small fangs in. Fern was glad she couldn’t really do much to him. Her grip on his chest fur was tight. She wasn’t going to let go unless Skarr told her so.
