Jace climb a tree and stayed hidden within the leaves. He looked down at the girl and knew she was a vampire. He watched her carefully then read her mind in time to hear her plan to be a scared human and smirked.

Quinton gave her a hug then stood up and stretched. He took his bowl into the kitchen, pondered for a moment over whether or not he wanted more, then decided he didn't. He rinsed his bowl out then started to cover up the last of the food, forking out one more bite, then put it back in the fridge. He came back in the bedroom and plunked down on the couch beside her.
