To be honest I did it after watching a program I used to watch (no longer do ) due to something they did that really didn’t need to happen in it . Also it’s good when your sort of prepared especially if it’s something based on real life as then at least even though it’s deeply upsetting you can kinds of brace yourself . I think the worst one for me was a character from an anime I watch who died with little to no warning and I was like uh that didn’t happen in the manga so I was unprepared and got crushed by it .

Akame ga kill (anime) is the perfect example of this TvT
I cried in every episode
Your right tht with Vikings I at least have some warning
(but they did that scene so well it totally shattered me)
