(Xione and Ezvar were having breakfast, some guys came in and started to harrass Xione, and then they went their seperate ways afterwards. In the meantime, Nellie and Setsuya are having lunch together)

Setsuya pouted a little, thinking that it was all too plain, but one thing did catch his interest. The talk of brothers and having a father. He never really had a real family experience. He really couldn't call his fosters parents at all, since they only sdopted him so that other people wouldn't get their money after they died, seeing that they were the last of their blood line and all. "Hmm... Would you mind if I asked you to tell me more of your parents? Stuff like that has always been interesting to me, so anything you've got, I'm willing to listen." He said, his pout stretching back into a grin.

Nellie thought about the question for a minute.
"Well...I should say parent, my mother was as useless skank who ditched my father after I was born. We heard she died in a bar fire. Serves her right."
Nellie said, crossing her arms a bit.

"My father though, he was a real tough, honest guy. He could bend nails with his bare hands, and his arms were so huge that when my brothers and me were younger, he could wrap them around all of us at once. He was a real happy-go-lucky guy before I was born, but after mom left, he just became allabout working on the farm...It actually lead to his death that farm...Mill accident, 1862. Saddest day of my life."

Nellie said, uncrossing her arms atthis point.

Setsuya continued to grin throughout Nellie's story, one elbow on the table as he rested his chin on his palm. "Huh. So I guess your brothers were really worried about your dad to have even told you about all this. Well, look on the bright side. You had a real family for a while, right?" He said, his eyes soft and caring as he spoke. "I actually envy you a lot for having people like that. I never knew my parents, if I even had any, and the only reason I know I have brothers is because they're the only other people who have my marking, just in a different place with a little change to it." Setsuya ended up getting up to his feet, stretching his arms above his head before proudly placing his hands on his hips, grinning down at Nellie. "But on the bright side, I'm rich, people are getting nicer, and I don't have to feel sorry for myself anymore." He laughed, the smile on his face unable to be helped.

"All of us loved him to death...we were a very close knit family."
She replied after his furst comment.

She actually felt a bit sad for him.
Money was one thing, it could bring you a lot of nice stuff.
And then family was another thing, it it could bring you other nice stuff.

She looked up at him as he stood up.

"As for me, I'm low middle class, people are getting more asinine everyday, and I have nothing to feel sorry about except maybe for my academic life."
She said with acatty smile.

"Life's pretty good I guess."

Setsuya nodded, finally getting the kink out of his back with one last stretch before sitting back down, the sun now pleasantly beating down on balcony that they were on. "It is now, anyway. It's absolutely wonderful if you are in the right places at the right time, but if you're people like us, life is good when you're not fighting for your humanity." Setsuya yawned, becoming rather dreary. "I gave up on becoming human, and I'm not even sure if that was the right decision." He said with a light groan.

Setsuya was beginning to wonder what was taking the staff so long with their food, glancing towards the glass door just as it was about to be slid open. Leon came out onto the balcony with two trays of food. Some simple cold cuts, soup and crackers. Setsuya was use to three course meals. This was just course one. Simple and appetizing. "Thank you, Leon." Setsuya said, grinning just a bit as Leon set the trays on the table, bowed and left. Once he was gone, Setsuya held his grin as he looked at Nellie. "This is just course one. If it doesn't look filling, then that's a good thing." Setsuya chuckled, taking a spoon and drinking his soup the way he had been told to by his teachers of etiquette.
