physical attributes collin has a few striking features to him, one of the main being his electric blue eyes that sometimes seem to look deep into one's own, and the other being his frosty white hair. his real hair color is that of a dark brown, though he bleaches and dyes his hair a snowy white color because he much more prefers the look over his real hair color, as he finds colored hair enjoyable. collin is fit as he does work out a few times a week, though that's not to say he's all muscles. he feels that the look wouldn't suit him so he simply maintains a healthy physique. when it comes to his black shuck form first and foremost he is a horse sized german shepherd, however his form is made up of that of shadow. his shape is always flowing and wavering, looking very wispy around the edges. his eyes turn from icy blue to a deep maroon red, though, he covers his eyes with a maroon blindfold as to hide them, since a direct look in his eyes can cause paralyzing effects, fear, or in severe cases, death.

abilities paralyzing gaze; as a black shulk collin's direct gaze has the power to paralyze someone in place, whether his eyes meet with yours at a close distance or far away. the closer he is the more intense the paralysis is. if he looks into your eyes when close to someone, their body will freeze and begin to feel numb, possibly causing them to fall over if they were standing or sitting. the paralysis will also last several seconds to half and hour depending on how close he is to someone when their eyes meet. in extremely sever cases, his gaze can cause death.

fear inducement; something that goes along with his paralyzing gaze is that of fear inducement. if his eyes meets anothers, then that person may begin to feel a sudden oncoming of fright or terror. his gaze might cause someone to see their biggest fears in the worst possible ways. collin has no control over what other people see, or how frightened they might get.

turn into a shadow; being part shadow already collin is able to melt into the shadows with ease, especially when it's dark in an area. he can hop from one shadow to the next, but doing so drains him of energy as well as the shadow has to be nearby.

shifting; he can shift to a from his human for to his black shulk form, though, doing so will expend his energy very quickly even after one shift, so he doesn't much do this.

enhanced senses; being a shadow wolf collin has the senses of a wolf, meaning he has better hearing, sight, and smell compared to regular humans.

limitations
other shulk's; his paralysis and fear inducement do not affect other black shulk's, or himself if he ever looks in the mirror. his gaze also tends to affect the weak willed or weak minded more intensely than those who have a strong hold of themselves, making it harder for those people to get lost in the fear, or able to break free from his gaze.

can't make shadows; while collin can melt into the shadows this means that he can't actively make a shadow when he turns into one. so if it's bright out he has to choose a shadow already in existence to melt into

personality collin is a sociable young man and thoroughly enjoys being in the company of others. from meeting strangers to hanging out with those that he knows, collin prefers spending time interacting with people rather than being alone. he enjoys talking and being in large groups, but also doesn't mind the intimacy of being with only a handful of others. he's like an open book and will talk about a vast array of things, spanning from wildlife to music and art to stupid little things like milk before cereal or cereal before milk. he has a passion for life and all that it contains, including the people within it. he loves to learn about others interests and hobbies, even wanting to try those that are new to him! he wants to explore all that he can during his lifetime and so he's open to many new possibilities! collin is a very caring and kind guy. he's quite the sentimental type and it shows in his everyday life. he appreciates all good that comes his way, and when it comes to the negatives, well, he's an optimist and will try his best to find the positive outlook. he remembers small details about a person such as their favorite color or food. he just wants those around him to be happy. he's the type of guy who you can count on whether it to be keep secrets, be someone to vent or cry to, or go to in need of help! this doesn't mean that collin is always the cheeriest person. since he wants to keep the positivity going he stamps down his own negative thoughts and feelings. this isn't the best thing to do because eventually those feelings with overflow and burst out eventually. when this happens collin can grow easily frustrated and snappy with others. not being the angry type nothing violent will come of this, however, he might just dump everything on the nearest friend, unloading all that he had pent up inside with one big word vomit of a vent. it isn't healthy, but collin does have a few unhealthy tendencies as such. another of his problems is growing a bit cocky in his own abilities. he easily overestimates himself and all that he can do. he'll take on projects that he's unable to finish, or attempt something only to fall flat. the young man sometimes doesn't realize his own limits or when to back down or ask for help. in these ways he can be childish at times. not only does he overestimate himself, but it's hard for him to be all that serious. situations to call for maturity can be hard for him to grasp at first. he's also somewhat naive and gullible, being easy to take advantage of at times if he's not aware someone might have cruel intentions or tendencies. but this doesn't mean he can't be an adult! when it comes down to it he tries his best to balance the immature with the mature in himself, figuring out how to separate the two when times call for it.
quirks collin has severe allergy to nuts. eating anything that might contain nuts, or using oils or lotions that contain some sort of nut oil can cause him sudden and dangerous reactions that can close his airways and cause hives and rashes. he's extremely careful about what he eats and always carries a few epipens on him just in case. now, being a good ole brit collin enjoys tea time with crumpets (is this overly stereotypical coming from an american? possibly, but i think it's a cute stereotype). he always likes to make time to sit down with a hot cup of tea, which helps in clearing his mind, relaxing him, and calming those nerves. it's therapeutic, really. he doesn't really understand the concept of american measuring or temperature system so is constantly using centigrade and meters as a result, because it's what americans should use anyway (though he would never say this)
