Raptorstar
leader | 63 moons, tom | tagged: Gorsestar (Echoclan)
"Twolegs were just... gone for a while," Raptorstar said, shifting on his paws. "No idea where they went, but they're back now," he added, rolling his eye. "Stupid beasts are more trouble than they're worth, but they seem content leaving the Thunderpath alone."
Zephyrsnap
Soldier (deputy) | 28 moons, tom | tagged: Moonblossom (Sloughclan)
"Oh, you didn't come with a leader?" Zephyrsnap asked, surprised for just a split second. "Though, I guess I can't say much. Raptorstar, our leader, doesn't interact with anyone. He usually just sits off in the shadows until it's time to leave, and I can't help but wonder why he came... It seems as if he might as well not be here." Zephyrsnap shook his head, almost rolling his eyes at the thought. "Anyway, sorry, I don't mean to ramble. But this is my first gathering too!"
Pearflower
Hunter | 17 moons, she-cat | tagged: open
Pearflower quite literally sat in the middle. She gazed up at the sky, letting the stars cast their mild light over her pelt. If someone wanted to talk to her, they would, but for now; she was content with the sky.
Maddersneak
Hunter | 18 moons, she-cat | tagged: open
As stealthy as her name implied, Maddersneak kept herself in the shadows. She saw Raptorstar, hanging around the edges as well; at least she wasn't alone in her dissatisfaction of the large crowd. Perhaps if someone came to the edge, she'd talk, but she had little interest in forcing herself into the thick of the cat crowd.
Snowybranch
Scout | 20 moons, tom | tagged: Lechwehorn (Scarabclan)
Snowybranch's heart gave a jolt as the cat - no, not just a cat, his father! - formally introduced himself. "Ah, it's... so nice to finally meet you. Well, meet you again, I suppose," Snowybranch joked lightly, a smile crossing his face. Despite the happy occasion, his heart gave a pang of longing. It should be Duskwillow here to see Lechwehorn, not Snowybranch... "My mother died bravely," he finally said, closing his eyes briefly. "She didn't speak of you often as I got older, mostly because I was too busy training, and I didn't realize my time with her would be cut so short... but she mentioned how different your clan is. A desert? I can't imagine living there... But you and my siblings probably think the same of us, living on a Thunderpath."
Cicadapaw
Apprentice | 10 moons, she-cat | tagged: Sunwhisker (Beetleclan)
Cicadapaw laughed brightly, nudging at Sunwhisker's legs with her paws. "Oh, there's definitely a lot of mud stuck on your leg," she said gravely, pointing at a patch of darker fur. "All four of them, actually! And your face... and your back... oh no! And your tail!" Cicadapaw pulled her face into that of mock horror for only a few seconds before she was unable to keep up her facade, breaking down into more laughter. "Seriously, though, mud? I would hate that! Though, I guess it wouldn't really stand out on my brown fur, so that would be a plus," Cicadapaw mused, smiling. "Knowing my luck, though, I'd probably get stuck and all my littermates would just leave me out in the sun! Do you get stuck in it often? I feel like you must if it's deep! Though maybe it isn't deep at all..." Cicadapaw found herself talking very fast, though she didn't stop. She was having too much fun talking to this cat. [/b]
Cascadepaw
Apprentice | 10 moons, she-cat | tagged: open
Losing sight of Cicadapaw, Cascadepaw plopped herself down into a sit. She let out a huff, cursing her friend under her breath.
Scorchstar
Leader | 77 moons, tom | tagged: Bluebellcrown (Viridian Court), Sparrowstar (Spruceclan), Froststar (Flightclan)
"Hello, Sparrowstar," Scorchstar answered, blinking at the many cats that seemed to gather around Bluebellcrown. He finally felt at ease at a gathering, something that hadn't happened in his many moons of leading the clan.
Dipping his head in respect towards the other two leaders, Scorchstar let out a quiet sigh as he contemplated how to answer Froststar's question. "Been a bit of trouble with dogs recently in our territory truthfully, so Shiningclan hasn't been faring as well as I would have hoped - though I'm hoping that saga of life is behind us now. It's a battle we haven't been able to win yet." Truth, Scorchstar decided, would be better. Again, he waited patiently for the others to share before he cut in, smiling as Bluebellcrown answered Froststar.
Slatefang
Deputy | 49 moons, she-cat | tagged: open, with Timberleaf/Lily's Grace (Golden Kingdom)
Slatefang stayed quiet for a few moments, letting a breeze wash over her pelt. She found herself wishing Lily could be a part of Shiningclan, to be another she could confide in besides her sister or Timberleaf... But she was deputy now. She could come back each gathering, hoping to see Lily. As Timberleaf talked of Bluepaw, she couldn't help but reflect on her own apprentice. "I'm just glad I was given a calm apprentice. Turtlepaw has been nothing but gentle and patient, thank the stars. Kits are... not my favorite things to deal with," Slatefang shook her head slowly.
Timberleaf
Med Cat | 45 moons, tom | tagged: Lily's Grace (Golden Kingdom)
"Sometimes he's more trouble than he is help," Timberleaf said, smirking. "He... definitely likes to pull pranks, that's for sure."
Cindersong
Warrior | 49 moons, she-cat | tagged: Cinderfang (Flightclan), Cinderstar (Brookclan)
Cindersong looked curiously towards Cinderstar, also wondering where the leader hailed from.
"I certainly hope so," she said, smiling in thanks as Mousemint offered a comforting tail to her shoulder. "Applefall, my mentor, has been dropping hints about it, in any case, but I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. It is cool that you get to earn your name early in EchoClan!"
So focused on not stepping on any of the strangers around him, Softlight barely had time to react before a molly stepped out into the path he was taking and they both knocked right into one another. As she stammered a polite apology, the tom just giggled in amusement. All that effort to avoid bumping heads, and he'd somehow managed to do just that regardless. "Oh, no worries," Softlight said brightly, bouncing back up onto his feet. "I wasn't exactly watching where I was going. My name's Softlight, from SpruceClan. Nice to meet'cha!"
As he wandered, a flash of motion in the corner of his eye caught Goldenheart's attention, and the tom turned to spot the one and only Hopfrog, bouncing around with enthusiasm across the clearing. "Hopfrog!" he crowed, darting towards the molly with a spring in his step and a dopey grin, and nearly bowling her over in his haste. His exhaustion forgotten, the flame point couldn't help the purr from spilling out as he addressed her. "It's so good to see you! How have you been?"
"All these clan cats are something else, aren't they?" Crown of Embers said reverently, glancing to Lily's Grace at his side. "Their lifestyles are so... strange. All those arbitrary rules and customs they abide by, the names that they give themselves, the way they choose their leaders. It's very interesting. I wonder what they must think of us." Lily said nothing, so the Monarch just laughed to fill in the emptiness, his cream-furred tail swishing eagerly. "I'm excited to get to find out. I'll meet up with you later, but for now, I'm going to go find one of their leaders."
coalcrypt ♂ 41 moons (enforcer) - tags; open!
while not technically considered a high rank among the other clans, his pharaoh had made it clear that he wanted at least one enforcer to attend the gatherings as a form of security, especially this moon since one of the clan's pregnant molly's had insisted on coming to see her mate, despite being ready to give birth any day now. caimantooth had wanted to stay behind with his own pregnant mate, scorpionslash requested to remain in camp with his mate and step-children, and raggedsnap requested not to attend because he still felt insecure about his appearance and didnt want to be judged by cats of these other clans. which left coalcrypt to attend, not that he minded, for he hoped that he would be able to see another hairless cat, one that he had loved deeply for a very long time; his mate lichenstream of pineclan.
✣ Foxcatcher
15 moons ; tom ; warrior ; tags: ploverheart
Foxcatcher bounded straight into the clearing upon arrival, a massive grin on his face. It was his first Gathering as a warrior and he was determined to tell someone about it. He looked around for a few moments before he saw a small, pretty she-cat sitting by herself. He drew himself up and walked confidently but casually over to her, giving her a kind smile before gesturing to the ground next to her.
"Is this seat taken?"
"I'm so sorry if I startled you, just thought you appeared to be a fellow medicine cat." she said apologetically to the other cat. Mentally cursing herself if she found out this cat wasn't actually a medicine cat. Knowing in all honesty that you can't fully tell a cats rank purely by their looks.
Turtlerush decided to be brave for once in her life and walked up to another cat. Hoping to start a conversation with them "H-hello! I'm Turtlerush." she said now embarrassed that she faltered at the start of her sentence. Great way to start off a first impression... she thought to herself looking down at her paws for a moment. Tail flicking as her anxiety set back in afraid to look back at the cat she spoke too.
A smirked formed on Amberpool's face as he looked around the gathering. Rather excited to meet some other medicine cats and other cats in general. Wanting to learn from them how they interact with the cats they live with. Knowing that not all groups must be like his own due to the amount of them that seem to be at this gathering.
Eeltooth huffed, staying at the edge of the gathering, hoping to keep an eye on Bluebellcrown. Though he never doubted her as his Queen, he still feared she would overwork herself. So he wanted to make she wasn't too worn out from the travel to the gathering. Plus, he wasn't too fond of being around cats outside of the court. He came along merely to please his Queen as she wanted him to join her.
Staring at the tom as she listened to him made her realize she didn't introduce herself. "O-oh I'm The Knight dove of mourning of Viridian Court, but you can call me Mourningdove." she said trying to calm herself down. Seeing the tom sit down she loosed her tensed muscles and sat down as well. Letting out a sigh of relief that he wasn't upset with her. "I'm sorry this is my first gathering, well the first one ever for Viridian Court. I honestly don't know how things work around here." she said with a sheepish smile on her face.
Bramblestorm wrote:Bramblestorm | 41 moons | Deputy | Female | Tags: open
A surge of excitement ran through Bramblestorm as she entered the gathering. She stood tall next to Horizonstar, puffing her chest out. The brown tabby remembered fondly her first gathering and how wonderful it was to meet so many new cats. But then slowly, the faint memory of her old clan crept in. She remembered the despair she felt when their leader began to refuse to go to the gathering to hide his corrupt ruling. She shook her pelt, pushing away the bad memory.
"Pretty exciting, huh?" She said, bumping into Horizonstar playfully. Her leader chuckled and nodded.
Snowfinch wrote:Snowfinch | 40 moons | Medicine Cat | Female | Tags: open for Oceangaze
So many new smells, Snowfinch thought anxiously. Her tail tip twitched as she swung her head around, trying to take in all the scents. Will I see Oceangaze here?
