━━Dustypaw inhaled sharply as Foxtail suddenly appeared, blocking their way. His ears lowered in annoyance. Mouse-dung. Now they couldn't leave! A frown quickly appeared on his face as the warrior spoke to Briarpaw then turned to him. "Doesn't seem like you're so confident in her then. If you thought she could handle herself alone, why bother coming for her own 'safety'?" He asked, clearly displeased about the situation. As he turned his attention away and questioned where she wanted to go he quickly jumped in. "Hey! Who said anything about you taking over?" He couldn't let some warrior come along! He'd ruin the adventure entirely!

Foxtail shakes his head. "I know you can do things on your own, I don't know the rules that Crowflight put on Dustypaw however as each mentor teaches differently" He turns his head to look over his shoulder and tucks in his wings before looking back at the two. "Besides, I can be adventurous too" He made another toothy grin at the two of them before walking behind them, leaving the path out of the camp open to them. "Go on little warriors, I won't interfere if you don't want me to" He sounded genuine when he spoke.

Creamflower nods and takes another bite of her fish, savoring the delicious taste. Swallowing her bite, she licks her lips in satisfaction. "Hopefully it stays that way!" she said.

Scarletbark surveyed the camp, swiveling her ears to listen for coughs from sick cats. She heard none, thankfully, but she did catch the suspicious murmurings of two mischievous apprentices. Her eyes narrowed when she saw Dustypaw and Briarpaw dash for the camp entrance. With the threats of MossClan and fog creatures, it was far too dangerous out there for reckless apprentices to wander unsupervised. StarClan, these young cats have barely stepped out of the Nursery and they already act like they have a leader’s nine lives, she grumbled to herself. Briarpaw had been an apprentice for scarcely a moon, and Dustypaw was old enough to know better. She had half a mind to give them a good talking-to, but Foxtail seemed to have a handle on the situation. If it escalated, she would step in. Tail twitching irritably, Scarletbark turned away to check on other cats. The apprentices clearly had energy enough, but how were the warriors doing? Moonhowl looked a bit tired this morning. Padding over to the silver-striped warrior, Scarletbark mewed in greeting, “Hello, Moonhowl. How did you sleep last night?”

"Once I make sure some hunting patrols are on their way, we'll be forming a patrol to check the far border and then heading towards our highlands border after. It's going to be a long day outside of the camp, it's best if you eat now if you haven't already. We'll be checking for outsiders, making sure none of them mean us any harm." Maybe they'd get lucky and spot Feral, he could check on Mossclan for them from the outskirts.

Shadowstep was ready to make a comeback but when Foxtail went to stop the apprentices she decided to just watch, amused at the interaction.

Tigerstorm stayed laying down, watching as well before speaking up to Shadowstep, "Enjoying the show?"

"Aren't you? You know, if we had been born in this clan, we'd be the ones sneaking off without warriors." Shadowstep always found herself amused with the troubles young cats could get into.

"Maybe, but if we were born here they'd never have let me be a medicine cat." Tigerstorm completely believed the only reason he was allowed to apprentice and even get a full name was his outside knowledge of herbs. His size would have gotten in the way otherwise. "I don't think I could handle being a warrior."

"You are a big softy, that's true and absolutely terrible at hunting. At least if it came down to it though, you could probably scare off a badger with a hiss."

Meeting Moonhowl’s blue gaze, Scarletbark listened to her speak. The medicine cat’s eyes softened with concern, her annoyance with the apprentices forgotten momentarily. “Hm, I hope you have a better rest tonight. If you have been out on the moonrise patrol, it’s alright to sleep in a little longer. Try not to overexert yourself today,” Scarletbark murmured, impressed by the panther-blessed warrior’s dedication to the clan. As much as she approved of this kind of diligence, she didn’t want any warriors to get sick from overwork. They had lost too many cats to illness in recent moons. The silver warrior did not appear too bothered by the lack of sleep, at least.

Though Salmonpaw’s whiskers drooped at the thought of a border patrol, she didn’t complain. The apprentice had hoped to do some training with her mentor, working on controlling her ability. She still couldn’t get the hang of it. Her tail was a bit shorter than most and the lightning hardly ever came when she called. When it did, the electricity would just fizzle out without hurting a mouse. But, she reminded herself, defending their borders was still the work of a warrior. She could show those other cats that this was HollowClan territory! A bit of walking never stopped her anyway. The spark now returning to her amber eyes, Salmonpaw replied with her usual energy, “Okay, I’ll go get something to eat!” Dipping her head once more to her leader, she bounded over to the fresh-kill pile to choose a piece of prey.

She got out of the apprentices den after her very restless night, she didn't sleep almost anything and the night felt like forever for her, so she was pretty blad that the night was over by now. Thought she was pretty tired now and half of her body wanted to get to sleep, but she knows that she needed to keep going now.

She sat near the warrior's den her eyes looking the clans only queen their talking and eating with Coalfur, she was hungry too. So could it really be that bad if she goes to eat something small first and hunt something big in return? the queen was eating and they didn't have any elders so she made up her mind to eat something.

He got back to the camp, bringing two mice in his jawns, he was never being group hunter and liked to do some solo hunts in the mornings, before the weather goes too hot. He didn't have that long or heavy fur, but he was not a big fan of too hot weather, he got the mice to the pile, giving a small look to the other cats on it, but didn't really say anything.

Bristlefang had been awake since the stars were still dominating the night sky. He simply could not sleep; his mind was racing, thinking of the situation the clan was currently in. Right now, prey was plentiful, but trouble loomed on the horizon. Mossclan was behaving in their secretive fashion - and, in Bristlefang's honest opinion, they would try something soon. Why not? They had a new leader. It was only strategically smart. Divide and conquer - try to turn Hollowclan to splinters under new leadership, or straight attack and test the warriors' faith in their new leader. With a rival can pressuring them, and some demonic fog creature(s)? running amok while the spirits remained silent, and leaf-bare always around the corner, Hollowclan was in for a rough next few moons. So of course, that meant additional training, on top of his normal warrior duties and regular training.

He had to become a better hunter, and be more vigilante for strange activity. Something Bristlefang had noted since being a warrior was that patrols were structured, orderly, but also predictable. So if Mossclan wanted to snoop and sneak in the territory, it was possible they would only have to note the patrol patterns. So, Bristlefang took it upon himself to go out in addition to the normal patrols. Perhaps it was something to be brought up with Silverstar later, but the new leader had been so busy training Salmonpaw and doing new leader duties that the senior warrior had not yet approached him. So for now, he'd do what he could.

Currently, the scarred warrior was crouched in a tree, watching a raven just a few branches above him. Moving swiftly, he darted forth, using the aerial movement his wings gave him to snatch the unsuspecting bird from it's "safe" area. Bristlefang was quite the lousy hunter when it came to traditional stalking due to his large wings, but he'd recently learned that aerial hunting was much more effective for him. Proudly adding the raven to the growing pile of about three birds, the muscular tom paused, realizing it was time to head back - he had caught more than he could carry. Burying his prey and grabbing his finest catch - a crowned eagle he had stunned with a rock shot and then swiftly killed - the warrior began making his way towards the camp as the sun climbed higher in the sky.

The newly-minted apprentice awoke with a massive yawn and a leisurely stretch, only to realize that she did not hear much activity around her. Opening her eyes wide, Flamepaw surveyed the den only to realize that, even though the sun had barely begun it's ascent, nearly all of her fellow apprentices' had already left the den to begin their duties. Wow, almost everyone is up so early! I'm still struggling to get up at a reasonable time... I've gotta do better! Standing up determinedly, Flamepaw took only a second to smooth down her fur before stepping out of the den.

The entire camp was bustling with activity - already, everything was in full swing. The petite molly could hardly wrap her mind around the fact that there were so many cats already beginning their day. And, after a quick survey, she saw no sign of her mentor, Jaggedfang. He's probably already training or hunting. I have to get up sooner - I don't wanna become a burden! Biting her bottom lip, the apprentice mused about what she could do until her mentor returned. Maybe I could talk to Scarletbark about how to get better at my po- not watching where she was going, Flamepaw bumped into someone. Blinking in surprise, Flamepaw quickly recognized Milkpaw's bright white coat. Noticing her fellow apprentice seemed down, Flamepaw mewed, "Good morning, Milkpaw; are you okay? You seem really tired!"

His attention was soon caught by Foxtail, his whiskers twitching a bit at the warriors words. "So...that's it? You're just going to let us go on ahead?" He asked a tad confused with the change of events. He had been sure that Foxtail would have stopped them and turned them back to camp, but he wasn't complaining. "Well in that case...let's go!" He said as he began to continue onward. "Uh-thanks Foxtail!" He said awkwardly, not sure why exactly the warrior was letting them go along with this, but he was glad nonetheless. It seemed Foxtail was a different warrior.

Creamflower thinks for a minute before shrugging, indecisive. "I don't know." she said honestly. "Now that you mention it, I'm the only queen in HollowClan so I guess I have nothing going on today."
