soft and gentle like moonlight, alkmini has always strived to become the perfect goddess though that means she's often taken a back seat in her own life. even as a child alkmini set aside her own interests a sobering contrast to her twin though not done out of malice but rather her own sense of duty. the title passed down to her is something she will have to maintain and pass to the next person and that is something alkmini holds dear. however supressing her true self all her life has been much more difficult than alkmini first thought. constantly criticizing herself alkmini is a perfect example of being your own worst critic and living for others rather than herself. not honest with herself perhaps that makes it all the more easier to be overly honest with those around her when asked for her opinion. for all that she can come off as cold and uncaring her words do often time come from a place of love and a desire to see people become the best that they can be. to entrust alkmini with your secrets is to whisper them into the night air, she is always willing to listen to another's problems, giving advice only when pressed.

generations of taliesin witches have managed the near and far cafe, part bar, part cafe, part refuge for any wandering soul (supernatural or human) that comes across it. vivien is only the next in line destined to manage the historic building which keeps her busy all day long. as a family business, vivien grew up washing dishes, busing tables and meeting all sorts of supernatural creatures that would pass through the quiet town. though not much vivien lived off of their stories about the places they'd been dreaming of the day she could leave the small town of sebara harbour behind her. planning on leaving when she was eighteen viv's plans were put on hold permanently with her mother's sudden passing. apparently she drowned. putting her plans on hold vivien was now on her own with a business to run and emotions to suppress. fully committing herself to the cafe, vivien has had to learn how to make herself heard as a young business owner and to ignore the naysayers. confident now behind the bar vivien is always listening to other peoples problems offering advice and a discounted palm reading if you really want to know the future. the rooms upstairs are always on offer for whoever needs a place to go, supernatural or not.

when she was a child ronan was warned that humans were crafty and cruel and at fifteen ronan was shown just how cruel they could be. her skin stolen along with her freedom, the person who stole both was a hunter intent on having her track down the rest of her kind. with no choice, ronan gave up her family and friends and lost more than her freedom that day, something inside the selkie cracked. survival is ronan's only goal, no matter who she has to kill, another creatures death is just years added onto her own life. overtime ronan has adapted to her new life, quick and lethal ronan has become so proficient that she's sent out on her own with the knowledge that failure spells the end for her. with moments of clarity, ronan knows she's drowning in death and destruction but she can't see an alternative. expressing her guilt with apologies for the banalest things no one would ever guess she was a cold-blooded killer.

a student of the arcane, amory has always left a trail of misfortune and mistakes behind her
despite her best efforts. given to her mentor as a child amory treats pallando more like a
father than just her master. from the beginning the girl found it hard to perform even the
simplest spells seemed out of amory's reach as they often blew up in her face or went
beyondher control. a simple ask of starting the campfire would turn into a raging forest fire
or be reduced to billowing smoke. the one thing that wasn't unpredictable was amory's
dedicationto her lessons, no matter how many times she's blasted back onto her bottom
she'll dust herself off and try again. at least mastering evocation and able to summon
elements and energy as controlled bursts amory felt she was finally taking steps to become
a better wizard and making pallando proud. the next morning her master was gone without
a word leaving his young apprentice to her own devices. with no real direction to her life
amory decided that she would follow in her master's footsteps and travel the world to help
those that need it most. looking at a glass half full amory would help the world if she could
and definitely fall on her face while she did it. trying to control her immense power the
thing that has consistently gotten in her way is amory's own excitable and clumsy nature.
