Her eyes locked onto the oldest kits and their mother as they headed towards the front of the clan. She hoped they didn't mind that it would be her doing their apprentice ceremony instead of Southstar. She felt honored that they would be the first kits that she would send on their journey to become loyal warriors of EagleClan.

Robinwind frowned to Lighttail. "You aren't just waiting to join StarClan, Lighttail. You mean a lot to the clan." He had known that Lighttail hadn't been happy about becoming an elder, after all, he was rather young still, but his injuries had made it so he wasn't able to be a warrior anymore. But he hadn't quite realised how much Lighttail missed it. Maybe there was something more that Lighttail could do, so that he didn't feel so hopeless. He would have to talk with Beestar about it, see if maybe there was something more they could do for the elder. "But you're right, time does seem to move fast." The medicine cat agreed. "It seems like only yesterday Creamflower's kits were born, doesn't it!"

With her former crush on Swiftbadger falling flat as the queen quickly learned he wasn't interested in her as such, she had grown apart from him. In time though she hoped their friendship would recover but for now she did need space for her to get over it and though she overall had in that time she managed to begin her own feelings for another. Deertail and her were closer than ever in the past moons, them both grieving over their own losses as he found out Foxcloud had betrayed him. She was surprised when he told her but also unfortunately happy though at the same time upset that her friend was hurting even though it had been moons.
The queen had glanced at her friend that was still asleep and sighed, nudging him once. "Deertail you have to wake up, Streamspot is going to be probably announcing mentors for the kits soon."

When hearing Smokekit ask her a question and licked the tom's head gently. "Of course not, I'm sure they'll come and visit once they're done with their warrior training and their chores Smokekit. And yes you'll have Acornspots kits to play with and there will be room to play in the nursery with Foxcloud's kits gone now just think positive thoughts."

The tabby heaved a sigh as he padded into camp. He dropped his prey in the pile and then sat down and began to groom his paws.
As the meeting began, the brown tabby sat up. His gaze remained steady on the deputy, who was speaking in place of Southstar. The tom had been busy recovering, and in the last few days Streamspot had taken on his duties temporarily.

Acornspots wouldn’t lie - she was glad the nursery was clearing out a bit. She had been meaning to talk to Southstar about the size of the den. Now that it was staying full, it seemed that an expansion should be in order.

While there was nothing wrong with his health, the queen still worried for him - being different was usually not a good thing when it came to acceptance. Willowkit did not envy him. She was glad to have her space, and glad that Acornspots only looked over her shoulder the normal amount.

Robinwind frowned to Lighttail. "You aren't just waiting to join StarClan, Lighttail. You mean a lot to the clan." He had known that Lighttail hadn't been happy about becoming an elder, after all, he was rather young still, but his injuries had made it so he wasn't able to be a warrior anymore. But he hadn't quite realised how much Lighttail missed it. Maybe there was something more that Lighttail could do, so that he didn't feel so hopeless. He would have to talk with Beestar about it, see if maybe there was something more they could do for the elder. "But you're right, time does seem to move fast." The medicine cat agreed. "It seems like only yesterday Creamflower's kits were born, doesn't it!" As Beestar called the clan meeting, he readjusted so that he could see her clearly, purring. It was an exciting day in the clan.

As Stormpaw and Falconpaw passed by, she turned to where the cats were all gathering. "Oh! I should probably go! Good luck with everything, Artemis." She purred, padding after her apprentice.

Poppykit took a bite of the prey before he heard Beestar call the clan to gather. He let out a squeal and forced himself to swallow the bite he had taken, the rest of the prey forgotten. "It's time!" He said, his eyes wide as he looked from Dustkit to Fawnkit. "Does my fur look okay??" He tried to groom himself quickly and took a moment to groom down a bit of Dustkit's fur too. "Creamflower!! It's time!" He whispered to his mother, almost unable to sit still.

She whispered, eyes wide as she looked up at Streamspots. She took a moment to turn as make a teasing face at her siblings when they came over but found herself looking back towards the meeting, excited for the ceremony.

He settled down close to Stagleap and looked around the camp. He didn't think he'd ever seen so many cats all at once. This was his first clan meeting, after all.

Creamflower hears Beestar calling for a Clan meeting and pads over to Dustkit and Poppykit, happy to see Poppykit grooming Dustkit's fur quickly. She is proud of both Dustkit and Poppykit as she knows they will both grow up to be very successful in OakClan. She smiles at Fawnkit, knowing he will be very successful as well.

Eveningpaw, your mentor will be Deertail. Redpaw, your mentor will be Swiftbadger. Wrenpaw your mentor will be Springheart. Bramblepaw, I will mentor you. I hope your mentors will pass down all they know on to you.

She watched the apprentice's and their new mentors faces carefully as she spoke their names. She waited until the mentors made their way to the front of the clan.

Littleflower, Deertail, Springheart and Swiftbadger, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training and you have shown yourselves to be loyal and courageous. You will be the mentor of these apprentices, and I expect you to pass on all you know to them.

She allowed them to touch noses with their apprentices before bounding down and touching noses with Bramblepaw. She could feel the young tom's excitement with whisker's trembling.

Now for her deputy assignments.

"Goldenrose, if you feel Wolfpaw is ready we will have her assessment this evening. Mistflower, you will train with Hornetpaw today and help determine if she is ready to become a warrior tonight when we do her assessment.

Messfur, take a few warriors for a hunting patrol. Browntail take a few and check the border. Russetswirl and Blazefrost stay in camp until a patrol returns. We don't want the remaining kits to be unprotected.

New mentors take some time teaching your apprentices the warrior code, clan rules, and our territory.
