spaceEllie almost immediately shrunk away from Echo's bear hug, her body language showing how uncomfortable she was with this human contact. This was the difference between Echo and her. She didn't really like people or social interaction. Sure, she thought that Echo was a sweet girl, but she was definitely not Ellie's friend. Ellie turned a bright red as she shrugged away from the blonde.
spaceEllie listened silently to Echo talking about Archer. The thought of the boy made her blush. She had developed a small crush on him, but it definitely wasn't serious. She knew the boy was a player and didn't care much about girl's feelings. She didn't want to get caught up in another relationship like that.
spaceEleanor had given up trying to show Echo that she didn't really feel like talking with her and eventually just gave in and sat down next to the bubbly girl. She visibly squirmed when Echo asked about her summer.
"It was fine." She said abruptly, not caring to further discuss the topic. There was still five more minutes until the first bell rung and they had to be in there classes. Five more minutes of social interaction. How was she supposed to know that everyone would show up early? She took a shaky breath, hoping that Echo would tell her all about her summer so that she didn't really have to talk much.
spaceEleanor was always one to raise her hand in class and give the answers, but when it came to talking to other people, like Echo, she tended to avoid conversation.
"I like your sketches." Ellie said abruptly, noticing Echo's scattered works.
