Toshiro met Elle's gaze evenly, but in the depths of his turquoise eyes, a great deal of pain burned. He kept his voice composed, however, and said, "That is what I believed as well, but my orders are my orders. Acting against the word of the Lieutenant Commander could be considered treason. And if I was truly stripped of my title and forced to leave the Soul Society, or even if I was executed, that wouldn't do any good for Skylar, would it?" A very small, very sad smile touched the corners of his lips and he averted his gaze down at the note on his desk. It's very presence seemed to make the atmosphere of the room stifling.
Upon hearing Elle's words, Toshiro couldn't help but feel a useless kind of hope. Would hearing whether Sky chose to leave or not really be enough for him? He was afraid that he wouldn't be able to stop himself from going to Hueco Mundo should it prove that she hadn't left of her own free will.
"Go right ahead." He murmured, picking up the letter and extending it to Elle. His gaze briefly flickered back to Momo, seeing her unimpressed expression and still finding surprise in her recently cold attitude. She wasn't like how she usually was. She had never been this way before, not even after Aizen's betrayal. His brown furrowing a little, he stared at her intently for a long time, as though he planned to unlock the secrets of her soul by sheer willpower.
------
"You seem smug," Ulquiorra replied emotionlessly, taking another sip of his tea. The drink left a bitter taste in his mouth. "So tell me, what do you exactly plan to do." He said, bringing his penetrating emerald eyes to meet hers.
-------
{Lol, Doku molested Tisagu's feelings. XD I laughed when I read that.}
Doku grinned and leaned against the wall, the muscles in his stomach rippling as he did so. With a non-commital moan/grunt, he said, "I'm going to sleep. I gone four days without it and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Wake me up in a while." The last bit was directed to no one in particular. Nearly a second after he spread out his mat and placed his head down, he was out cold.
------
Sutetchi nodded to Doku, her ebony hair bobbing as she did so. Returning her gaze to Cinnamon, she lightly finished its touchups and extended her outward so she could get a full look. Smiling creepily in satisfaction, she twisted to face Tisagu.
"Do you care about Sky?" She asked, cocking her head to the side once more in a gesture of confusion and curiosity. Her button eye gleamed brightly, as though it could relay her emotions as well.
---------
"Aww, they can't see us! Don't worry so much!" Akiko chuckled, beginning to dance on the top shelf. "And if one of them did, they would just be pinned as crazy!" She exclaimed gleefully, completing a complex turn. "Chinese?" She asked, her nose wrinkling a little. "Whatever. I"m staying with Japanese."
