Mintpaw stared at her.
"I can't wake back up," he meowed, "they won't let me." He flicked his tail to bushes, with red eyes glinting. "Who knows how long I will have to stay here." Mintpaw meowed, shrugging. He licked his injured paw, felling nothing at all.
"And I've lost all feeling in my paw. Can't even move it." He meowed, his paw dangling.

[Cap'n Rose]

Winterstream looked over at him. "We'll have to amputate it then..."

The shadow cat laughed.

Mintpaw sighed.
"Not right now. First we need to figure out how to get out of here." He meowed, his eyes narrowing as he looked around.
"I don't care about my paw, and I won't until we get you out of here." He meowed, a hint of protectiveness in his voice. Mintpaw's voice sounded slightly pained, but he stared at her with a cold star... But, you could slightly see sorrow hidden behind them.

Winterstream, as usual, was immune to his stares. "True enough-"

The shadow cat laughed again.

Mintpaw looked away, as if to avoid her gaze.
"Come on..." He grumbled, beginning to walk away.

[Cap'n Rose]

"You don't want to go that way." The shadow cat barred his way.

Winterstream tried walking in a different direction.

Mintpaw growled.
"Why not? Is your pretty little secret lair over there?" He sneered, and walked around the shadow cat.

[Cap'n Rose]

The shadow cat regarded Mintpaw fro a moment. "No..." He was clearly confused by this impudent youngster.

Winterstream smiled at teh shadow cat's confusion.

Mintpaw kept trudging ahead.
"Whats wrong, surprised, cat?" He growled.
