I will Eventually Gain Some Tasty T-RPG Goodness But Fate Has In Store For Me What It Will - also I'm apparently a bard-type according to Some Things I've Looked At and what People Have Told Me It's apparently fitting for me and I'm just... well, when I think about it, I'm pretty dang bard minus the typical seductiony thingy people do with them. Honestly I wanna play an Agressive Friendship Bard eventually because... That sounds WAY better in my opinion. Just... rapidly plays Megalovania Undertale to Make A Friend... Out Of You (...I sang that part in my head lol-)

Sure!! Bards are Good and def one of my favourite classes! I don't like the Seduction Stereotype like... yeah that's fine, can make for funny scenes if you're respectful with it, but I hate the whole idea that it's the Only thing you do with bards. No!! They're about knowing all the knowledge/lore!! Supporting the party!! Getting out of things by lying or just being really Nice!! Creative spell use!!

I had a bard in a d&d campaign whose spells were all focused around changing her appearance, bc she didn't like who she was, but ended up channelling that into Acting and realising she liked putting on performances and doing flashy magic effects. Also her go to in combat was turning invisible and pretending to be a ghost of someone the enemy had killed, to guilt them/freak them out.

Also I played a bard in a dragon age game which like, is a pretty different system from d&d, but she was completely charisma based and had a ridiculously high communication score and loads of communication focuses. But never seduction, bc she felt v awkward and uncomfy about that, but it's fine because she has a +12 on performance roles in a setting where you roll 3d6. One time she just sang a song about how cute her boyfriend was to get him out of trouble with his boss, that's the closest she's ever come to seduction rolls.))

Lazarus stood outside the Fantasy dorms because... Today... It was time for board games, and he was hosting, oddly enough. He would've expected to be back in the Void Valkyrie, but things changed because... Morgan. A baby. An utterly cool baby. So, of course he didn't mind.

A bit of the way down the hall, Bon Voidage and DVS, along with Scorpius, we're heading that way.
"...Now that I think about it...We've barely even had to be in anyone's dorm lately," DVS murmured, his thoughts coming to that. "I... kind of wonder what the inside of these dorms are actually like. Maybe we could get some inspiration for the Void..." He paused, upon realizing, oh, yeah, giant fantasy tower, what kind of inspiration does that have to offer for a boat? "...Valkyrie."

"Do we need a tower in the boat?" Bon Voidage wondered. "I don't think the boat needs a tower."

"...Maybe something inside said tower."

"The boat doesn't need a tower, but it wants a tower," said Scorpius. "Just think how much cooler that'd make it. Hey Lazarus! We were discussing your dorm room. Is it cool?"

He pondered this for a moment. "Yeah! It's pretty cool. Now... boat? There's a boat tower?"

"No," DVS replied.

"But... now that I think about it, the boat just might want a tower. I am one with the boat, after all... The boat wants a tower!" Bon Voidage interjected.

"Wh- You've never said anything about the boat wanting things before!" DVS looked very confused for a moment before realizing it was... definitely just a figure of speech.

"Boats have desires in your universe?" Lazarus asked.

"Well, mine does now."

"Boat tower! Yeah!" Scorpius pushed into Lazarus' room, looking around. "We're the first here then! Nice. Hey, d'you mind if I eat snacks in your dorm room? I really want snacks."

"Yeah. You can eat in here. Try not to make a mess- er, actually... I don't care, I can just eventually steal Lucas's stabby robot thing with the vacuum. Unless you manage to... get whatever snacks somewhere in which a vacuum cannot reach..." He trailed off into silence.

DVS felt there was something uncanny about this dorm after he followed Scorpius in. It was like a liminal space but entirely complete... just unnerving. But, that could just be the fantasy dorms in general? He wouldn't know.

Bon Voidage, meanwhile, was beginning to generate a few snacks... specifically, sea salt and vinegar chips, and some soda candies she passed over to DVS. "Scorpius. Do you want anything?" She seemed as if she had trained her off-Valkyrie creation abilities more since the last game night.

Scorpius had taken out a large bag of doritos but still reached over for Bon Voidage's crisps. "Thanks! Hey, so, did you get back all the pieces from the last game night?"

"Oh, I almost forgot about that. I'll wait for Lucas to reveal who won that little duel..." He glanced at the door, only to find Lucdust just waltzing in... without Lucas. This just had to do something with the sword message. Why else would Lucas be taking his time?

"HI," Lucdust spelled.

DVS gave a silent wave, as Bon Voidage gave a nod.

"Hello, Lucdust. Do you know what Lucas is doing?"

"THAT IS A SECRET TO KEEP."

"...Okay..." Yep. Definitely the sword thing. He didn't entirely understand why Lucas would ask him to have a sword ready on a board game night... but clearly, if he needed a sword, it was of some importance. Maybe they were playing... sword games. Hah! A good pun. He snickered to himself for a moment.

Scorpius waved too. "Uh, is Lucas doing anything that'll interrupt game night? Because Cazenar and Aurion interrupted game night last time, and y'know, that's not meant to happen. You guys are new, so I dunno, you might be thinking it's not a proper game night if a load of fighting doesn't happen. It is. Don't listen to anything Cazenar and Aurion tell- baby!"

Three entered the room, carrying Morgan, who began whining. "Ah," said Three. "Morgan, are you all right? Is it... Scorpius yelling? Don't do that, Scorpius. And Lazarus, is there any way you could make your room less... peculiar? That might be bothering them too."

((Idk if i have energy for more spaceventure yet bc that involves thinking up worldbuilding things, but have a bit of academy at least))
