Shadow stepped around Ash, shooting the black Warrior a sharp look. "You don’t need to be so on guard, Ash. I’m not an evil wolf," she muttered before she addressed Angel again, raising her voice to normal level again. "I’m still considering some options. I don’t wish to do anything that will deal lasting harm so much as teach her, and let her know that she does not get away easy. I want to keep her in the Pack though. Banishment or death have always been reserved for the worst-case scenario, which I do not believe this to be."

"Heeeey!" Karter paused to look over his shoulder as he pouted at the comment, which was a mistake, as it slowed him down, and he nearly ripped over his own feet. No! Bad! He scolded himself, and pushed forward. It felt like flying more than running. Running from his camp, from his Pack, even from the family that had begun to fall to ruins again. His birth family had been quite enough, and for a long time now, things had been going wrong with his new family at Lightning Pack. Running, being free of that, even just for a brief time, felt freeing, like he could really breathe again.

"A trespasser?" Catania was no Warrior, so she had no experience nor place with such a situation, but if Thunder wanted her along, be it to help track or something else, then she had no arguments. She had a lot on her mind, and it would be good to get out for a bit.

"So did Angel and I. We didn’t see what happened right away, but we were told. Ginger tried to murder one of Riley's sons, from the sounds of it, and Leo put an end to that. Alpha went lighter on Ginger than many wolves would have expected. I overheard her talking to Leo a few minutes ago. Something about the Omega role. I dunno if that’s an actual thing or was just talked about, and she’s not allowed anywhere near the Pups or nursery, and den-mothers, I believe only with the spoken permission of both the Alpha and the den mother."

Storm watched Karter stumble, but smiled as she watched him open up. She sprinted forward, the sun dancing on her pelt as they moved through the trees. She glanced at Karter and called out to him.
"Not long now!" She told him. "Just a little further and we'll be clear of all the drama we're leaving behind!" She crowed.

The beautiful and slender darker tan and white male twitched his ears. He flicked his tail a couple times, then stopped. He nodded as he said “I guess we are,” and followed. He dipped his head to Moon, then held the rabbit up to show her.

The gray eyed, gray faced black wolf hummed a bit. S/he flicked the gray tipped tail, sighing a bit as they looked at Andromeda. “Hey Andro, come with me; please,” they then said. They sat and nodded to the other wolf. “That...that’s terrible!” they barked so suddenly. They shook their head, asking “What...what did Angel say, think?”

Angel flicked his ears nonchalantly as he listened to the others, keeping his gaze trained on Ginger. Sleep clouded the edge of his memory.
"Go on..." He urged Night softly. "I am interested in what it is that you are proposing. Though the first thing that we need to rectify is the red stain on our pack. Any ideas on how to do that succinctly?" He asked either of them and gave a brief inclination of his head to Aurora, though his eyes were pointed at the orange she-wolf that spoke with Leo. "Yes... I suppose fleeing is also a possibility. Find those of us who wouldn't stand for murderers to go unchecked... But where would we go?" The Lightning Pack was his home. He didn't particularly want to leave the territory, but all of this drama was tangling itself into a horrific nest of tension and villainy, something he wanted nothing to do with.

At the sharpness of a bark, he glanced over briefly. Enna was speaking with some others. He surveyed them a moment, but deemed the situation fine. Calmer than the current one he was discussing with these she-wolves at least. Enna knew how to leave a conversation she didn't want on her own.

Karter slowed his pace only for a moment as she called out. Leaving all the drama behind. He had a son and two daughters still to take care of, but he wasn’t nearly ready to face the chaos of camp, of responsibility, and he wasn’t ready to face Aala. With every step, he was more and more certain of that. I used to be able to talk to her about anything and everything. She could calm me down. We could help each other, and we were always happy to do so, and honest with each other. Sometimes I worried...she would leave me, when some of the others vied for her attention, but yet...I’m the one who’s confused about the relationship. How stupid is that? I’m a real hypocrite.

Karter picked up his pace, letting his frustration out every time his paws hit the ground underneath him. I can’t talk to her anymore, not like I used to. She gets worried if I talk with anyone else. She gets worried when I’m away, even if it’s just to do my job. I failed her and I failed our daughters, again and again and again. I need to get away. I need to start new... He took a deep breath. The meadow was nearby, Storm had said. Just for a brief moment in time, they could escape the stress of their Packmates and responsibilities.

The pale furred she-wolf swished her tail across the grass, staring down at it. "Angel...wants a harsher punishment. He went to talk to Alpha, and it didn’t appear to have gone how he expected, though I wasn’t close enough to hear what actually went on," Enna continued. Her gaze shifted briefly over to where Angel sat, talking with Aurora and Night. Of all wolves, Night? No doubt she’s got an opinion on what happened earlier. That she-wolf always has SOMETHING to say. Hopefully whatever it is actually makes sense this time...half the time it doesn’t.

"I personally tried to distance myself from it. If I’d been there in the moment, I would’ve gotten involved, but the action had already been done, Tehran was nothing I could do, and call me a coward if you wish, but I have no desire to get myself caught in the middle of what’s quickly turning into chaos, where half the Pack is getting involved, including wolves who weren’t even there to see what happened," She added.

"What I’m proposing is kinda cruel, but hear me out. Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? This DEFINITELY qualifies as a desperate time." Night sat up straight. "Shadow is a great fighter. I’m sure everyone in both Packs knows that. Most of 'em have met her in battle at some point or other, or seen her fight. She wouldn’t be easy competition, but as long as she can walk around with authority, barking her stupid orders, we can’t do SQUAT. However, if we could disable her somehow, take her down a peg, it’d turn things around. Do something that sends her to the Healer den for a few days, at least, and in the meantime, Cole is our Beta, but he spends more time with Cody and their Pups than he does working alongside Shadow. He doesn’t know how to run a Pack. That leaves it open for us to take action that would better fit the crime, we could make something up. Catch the others when Cole goes out hunting for Cody or something, and tell who we can that we were left in charge. We could have our way here, if this can be pulled off right."

Night's eyes gleamed. The prospect of a plan, especially if that plan involved fighting or trickery, was always something that could make her smile. It meant there would be something to do, or at least talk about, aside from just stuffing their faces and laying around camp.

They nodded when she then continued to speak, but was half on Angel and Night. They hoped those two wouldn’t conspire against anyone... “Of course there wasn’t,” they agreed. “I won’t call you a coward,” they then told her. “It really is chaos, I guess...” they trailed off. They then shook their head a couple of times, letting out a sigh.

"THAT was the suggestion?" Enna asked. She couldn’t deny she was surprised. She thought she’d overheard snippets, but she’d left for the den when Angel had tried to take matters into his own paws. She loved him, of course, but that didn’t mean she wanted to be in the middle of the drama, even if he wanted to get himself involved. That was his own choice. "Do something to Alpha? Angel, I doubt. Night is..." She frowned. "Unpredictable. She might see it as a double-opportunity. Everyone knows she’s ambitious to an unhealthy degree. If she thought there was a chance she could take Alpha down, she would take it in a heartbeat."

"I won't agree to that." He said definitively. "You may do what you like, but my venom is directed at Ginger, the would be pup killer." He mused, the wheels turning in his head slowly. "Who is her trainer?" He asked the she-wolves, a plan slowly coming to his mind. "And... how fragile do you think this truce is...?" He asked in a very soft voice.
