Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Melody glanced at Sinbad, then stepped up and whispered in Indigo's ear. The captain nodded and moved aside, as Melody closed the trunk and stood on the flat top so everyone could see her. "Act One," she announced. "Scene one. Costumes. Scene two. We go to the hanging in small groups. Scene three. One of use- preferably one of you big brutes- finds a way to capture the hangman and steal his clothes. Scene four. The false "hangman" finds a way to make the rope really weak near the throat. Scene five. Sonja is put into the noose and hung. Scene six. The rope snaps, sending Sonja tumbling to the ground. She runs, and the "hangman" chases her. Scene seven. Sonja "accidentally" gets away, with the "hangman" chasing her. The rest of us filter away with the crowd as if we've always been part of it." She shrugged, and added, "If that doesn't work, there's always Act Two, but that involves killing civilians and that's not okay."

Sinbad watched and grounded his teeth. "Then who will be the hangman?" He looked in Melody's eyes. "And the group should stay with the ship. Safest bet. Fast get away, no stopping." He was going over the routes in his head. All the sea currents and where they would take him. He remembered them clearly at sea. Being on land didn't help. And for this long.

"No," said Melody firmly. "Sonja has a hideout right near the gallows, remember? The crew will make their way back there one by one and hide as they leave the crowd. In case something goes wrong and we need to fight out way out, the crew needs to be in the crowd." She glanced back and forth from him to Liam. "As for the hangman- one of you two."

emerald nodded. "sounds like a good plan" she said quietly. she was excited. she had been on the ship less then an hour and already she was part of their crew and helping get back the captian. she smiled. were all pirate ships this cool? she asked herself.

Ingo came out, in the dress, she sighed slightly, but listened intently when the plan was unveiled. She was slightly doubtful that it would work, but there was no way she'd disagree, it was the best, no, the only plan she'd got.

"I'll do it!" said Rodney stepping fortgh. When he saw the look on people's faces he stepped back again and hung his head.

Betty stepped out slowly and onto the deck. Her foot steps were silent and she hid behind a barrel, she could hear everything and was willing to help, she just couldn't bring herself to come out, she had been hidden for so long.

Sinbad shook his head. "I'll do it." He looked around, daring anyone to defy it. He knew that Liam might take the job as the hangman. He was thinking logically as he was more agile, worked with ropes a lot while on the Chimera. But he knew they had to get Sonja out.

Betty looked at Sinbad from the gap between the barrels. She wondered who he was, she had been a stowaway since the beginning of this vpyage and had never seen him before. Then she saw Liam, she had not seen him before either. She was curious but still couldn't push herself forwards and introduce herself. She knew they needed crew but after being a stowaway for so long she was scared.

Ingo nodded, he looked like he'd certainly fit the part.

Indigo stepped up to Rodney when he came forwards and knelt down, putting a hand on the child's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Rodney," she told him apologetically, "But we can't have a kid pretending to be a hangman. I don't doubt your courage, or your skill, and this isn't for your own good- it's because you're not tall enough. So don't feel that I'm trying to protect you. If blow comes to blow, all of us will fight." She stood and nodded to Sinbad, then asked Melody, "Have you got any black clothes in the trunk?" Melody shrugged, then stepped down and opened the box for Sinbad to look through it.
