I'm writing a fanfiction/diary/summery of what happened during this summer and hope I'm able to post it when the event ends (so my muse is willing).
So you can at least get a glimpse of what was going on :3

Tho I have to agree that this year was a bit... on the shorter side, story wise.
I really like the idea on itself, but the usual twists were missing (the "love/crush" thing went a bit unnoticed), so we're the Breaking News (I adore those) and the circus place could have got an actual tent and a bit more "screen time" as it's main attraction.
Maybe it's due to the current situation, but yeah - not my favorite summer event since I joined.

I still think the team did a great job with creating the pets and items and putting lots of love and effort into the story and it's NPCs.

This summer's event was world's better than last years - I appreciate the staff taking into consideration some of the critique from the previous event and making this one so good. <3

We don't actually know! A couple of us theorised it might be because the names for the Halloween and Easter stuff are always the exact same so it's just the same url each year essentially. That's just speculation though lol. I hope we do get a summer banner counter one day Dx

ohhh, i just noticed ryder uses they/them!!! that's such a nice touch, it's good to see nonbinary characters becoming more common

just hit the banner limit, even though I've been at work for the majority of the event. didn't see that one coming! I don't think I've done that before, or at least in several years. :')
