After facing war between clans, twolegs, and a new wolf pack, two clans called Blizzardclan
and Emberclan joined together to find new territory. They elected a new leader, Bouldertooth,
who lead them to their new home at the base of a mountain. Shortly after arriving, Bouldertooth
got sick from greencough, and before he was able to get his nine lives, he died. Before he died,
he chose his son, Wolfclaw to be the new leader of Boulderclan and the young tom is trying to
learn quickly how to be a good one. There are still some rivalries between the cats as some have
lost kin or friends to the war but they are learning to forgive and start again.

About the territory:
Boulderclan, guided by Starclan, have settled
between two mountains. As you go up the
mountains, the weather becomes harsh,
especially during Leaf-bare. Where they're
located, they're protected from much of the
harsh winds and cold weather. Prey that is
most common is birds, rabbits, and if you
travel a bit further out of the territory,
a river can be found with fish.

About the cats:
In general, Boulderclan cats have long
fur, to help protect them from the harsh winds,
they are either silent or very quick hunters, clumsy
cats rarely can keep up with the birds or rabbits
they commonly encounter. There is still some
bitterness or loyalties from when the clans were
split, but overall the clan is peaceful at the surface.

Wolfclaw woke up with a groan and stretched. He groggily sat up and groomed himself quickly before walking into the clearing. He sat at the base of high rock, where his father used to go in order to call the clan for a meeting. He didn't see himself as fitting to go up there yet because he wasn't leader, a fact he was hoping to change soon. He took a shaky breath, steadying himself, before yowling and announcing, "Boulderclan, I would like everyone to gather around me, I have important news,"he curled his tail around his paws and waited for his clan to gather, amber eyes scanning the clearing as cats approached.

Mosspaw had been awake, sunbathing before her mentor, Ravenfeather found her for her training. Her ears pricked when Wolfclaw called and she rolled to her feet and padded over, waiting for the rest to gather. She searched the crowds of cats for her fellow apprentices, hoping they'll sit near her.

Riverflight groaned, rolling onto her back when she heard Wolfclaw's yell. She stretched and quickly ran her tongue through her fur before rolling back onto her feet and padding into the clearing, looking to the young tom with sad eyes. Bouldertooth had once sat in that very spot to address the clan. She shook her head quickly, as if to shake the feelings out of her brain before turning her attention back to Wolfclaw.

Upon the ring of his new leaders voice, the amber tom paused in his movements only to peek his head in that direction. With the weight of decisions on his mind, the young tom sighed as he trotted back towards the leaders rock making sure to get a nice warm seat in the suns gaze. As he plopped himself down, he felt his tail curl around his paws in an unconscious movement. Resisting the urge to bat at his own tail was hard, especially under the leaders gaze, with his eyes flickering up every so discreetly, he softly batted his tail. Happiness swelled within his chest as he puffed himself up like the proud Boulderclan cat he was.

Beetleswirl padded out of his den at Wolfclaw's call. He had been up and out of camp early, gathering some herbs while also getting some time to himself. He had been sorting herbs in his den for quite a bit now when Wolfclaw called for every cat's attention. Beetleswirl soon found a place to sit and sat down, gaze on Wolfclaw. The cat was new to leading, and despite having watched the cat grow up, Beetleswirl hadn't had time to gather insight on the tom's thoughts. The tom had served as medicine cat for Wolfclaw's father, Bouldertooth, so he could only gather what he knew about Wolfclaw's personality through Bouldertooth.

Pinestalk yawned, stretching his legs out as he woke up. When a flare of pain shot up his flimsy leg, he winced. I'll have to go see Beetleswirl again today... he thought to himself as he groomed his leg in an attempt to soothe himself. He hated having to go to the clan's medicine cat all the time, but he knew better than to argue with the clan's herb expert, the only cat that knew how to help him. That's when he heard Wolfclaw's call. With a yawn, Pinestalk limped out of the warriors den, not talking to anyone as he found a spot to sit and listen to Wolfclaw's announcement.

The blue furred she-cat was always a late riser, but this morning, she was interrupted by Wolfclaw's announcement. Bluebird stretched and gave herself a quick lick-over. She then padded out of the warriors den and towards where Wolfclaw was. The kind she-cat meowed in greeting to her clanmates as she passed by them, looking for a spot to sit and listen. Looking around, she soon found a spot near Acornbelly, providing him with a soft smile in greeting.

Like Beetleswirl, Deershade had been up quite early. She had woken up before dawn, and couldn't fall back asleep, so she figured she'd go out for a walk. Keeping her ears and eyes open, she kept an eye out for danger, not wanting to be caught off guard. Nearing the end of her walk, the sun had finally started coming up. That was when she spotted a sparrow. Getting down into a crouch, the warrior crept towards the prey before pouncing on it, snapping it's neck with her teeth. Picking it up, she held it up, padding back to camp. As soon as she entered the camp, she heard Wolfclaw call for a clan meeting. Dropping her fresh-kill off in the fresh-kill pile, she found a good spot to sit and listen to the young tom.

The young tom stifled a yawn as the clan was called to a clan meeting. All Hailpaw wanted to do at this point was go back to sleep, but he knew that wasn't possible. Besides, he wanted to hear what his mentor had to say. Padding over to a spot near the front, the apprentice sat. Not one for being still very long, it was long before he started shifting back on forth on his paws, unable to sit still.

Sandripple let out a small growl as she was woken up by Wolfclaw's call. She was not ready to get up, but she couldn't ignore her future leader's announcements. The elder padded out of the elder's den, but went no farther than the entrance, sitting her feline behind next to the entrance. Sandripple continued to glare at any cat who dared look at her on their way to the meeting. She was in no mood to deal with her clanmates today. All she wanted to do was get some herbs from Beetleswirl and go back to sleep. Specifically in a nice patch of sunshine to let the warmth soak her body.

While she hadn't been the first cat out of the den that morning, the she-cat had found she was still up and about before the majority of the clan. There was no particular reason that justified her being up so early, she was just too restless to settle back asleep. So instead Petalfrost had carefully manoeuvred her way out of the den and into the camp. Once out in the fresh air the she-cat quickly stretched out before padding around the camp. Nothing really caught her interest and she soon took to curling up against a tree to wait out the rest of the clan.

Petalfrost had been on the brink of dozing off when Wolfclaw’s call out jolted her awake. Yawning, the she-cat padded over to the gathering cats and found a spot close enough to hear. She wrapped her tail around her paws and waited curiously to find out the reason for the meeting.
