The she-wolf offered a small chuckle. "Works for me." She confirmed light-heartedly, giving her tail a few wags. "I'll be off. Thanks for coming right away for me." She tilted her muzzle in the two wolves' direction, then cleaned up the leftover cobweb and turned around, heading back to her den.

"No!" She hissed. She kept glaring at her mother, facing her head on, her muscles tense and rippling beneath her glossy black coat. "Dad isn't dead! He didn't come last night. Are you stupid!? HE. DIDN'T. COME! He's not gone." She insisted rudely. Despite all the anger rushing through the big black pup, her eyes started to well up with tears. Deep down, she was starting to understand the fact that Erle was really gone, but... she wasn't ready for that yet.

The little brown wolf yawned a bit, then stubbornly shook her head a couple times. She sighed a bit, then settled into nest. She felt a paw on her, but couldn’t keep her eyes open. She huffed a bit at this...then fell into sleep.

The gray eyed, gray faced black wolf hummed a bit. S/he flicked the gray tipped tail, nodding as they said “Okay!” They ran around with her awhile, then they were both hungry. They both returned, and s/he headed for the prey pile.

Angel watched Ginger as she spoke to the Alpha, not daring to get close enough lest Shadow be in a snappish mood, as Ash had assumed earlier. Then, she was sent towards the Nursery. He leaped to his paws, growling loudly, not caring if he turned heads. Why was she being sent there? Did everyone just FORGIVE AND FORGET that easily here?!

Then she met with Leo. They moved to the Trainees den. He stared at her. How was she allowed to be here? Why was Shadow allowing it? He shook with emotion where he stood.
She shouldn't have been allowed to get away with it, Shadow was soft. A would be pup killer was going free, walking around and looking all too alive in the process. Why weren't more wolves speaking out? Why wasn't anyone taking action and doing something?! He snarled, ducking his head. Enna had disappeared somewhere and Blizzard was nearby. Angel was not a malicious wolf, but... how could they just stand by and let this happen?

He was tired, but he couldn't let Ginger out of his sight. He wanted to sleep, felt exhaustion pulling at his fur, but if he moved anywhere... would he be able to go anywhere besides at Ginger? If he killed her... would he get off with an Omega warning, or would it be then that Shadow finally shaped up? The irony was not lost on him at the thought. He sat down slowly, his gaze fixed on the she-wolf. He would not let her off easily. He would do what had to be done, even if no one else would.

Amusement crossed the white furred Alpha's face. Ginger was a bright young she-wolf. There was no denying that. She’d done bad things, yes, nobody could say otherwise, and there was a LOT of work to be done, it may be next to impossible, and there were going to be wolves who would never move past it, but there was still time to learn, to change, to grow, to earn acceptance from at least SOME of their Packmates.

Leo had been watching Kalen, Lily, and Artemis in their parents' absence, but all they seemed to be doing was sleeping, oblivious to what was going on around them. He envied them that. Then Ginger was approaching him. "Right! Repairing the den, in all the chaos I completely forgot." He didn’t particularly like the idea of working alongside Ginger, but his mother was right, they’d both been involved in what had happened. They should talk. I told Ash I wanted to be a therapist, and maybe I can take this chance to at least hear her out, if not find a way to help. "Right, just a sec. I think Blizzard's on watch duty, right?" He looked around. "Yo! Smoke, Starfire! I know you two lovebirds are over there for whatever reason, but can one of you watch Aala and Karter's Pups while they’re gone?" He looked over time them, receiving a nod of agreement from Smoke. Then he turned back to Ginger. "Right. So basically it’s all drafty, so we need to patch up the wall. Sandpiper and I collected some ivy and leaves, but we never got the chance to do much with it."

Perhaps Arian should’ve been mad at the glare, but the glint in Galaxy's eyes, the muscles bunching as her shoulders tensed, and the way she carried herself when she stalked off, it was all Erle. "You really are his daughter in every conceivable way..." The mottled she-wolf murmured wistfully. "We can’t be here though, Galaxy. This is Lightning territory. We've already trespassed and we were even caught. We need to go back home. Your siblings will worry."

It was always simultaneously relieving to see them, and painful to see them go, and Mattias had to remind himself that as long as they remembered their friends and family, they were still out there. He licked Athena's head between the ears. "It looks like they approved our family. I guess that means we're blessed by our starry friends, huh?" Mattias didn’t particularly believe in blessings being magic or anything, but there were a few lingering stars in the fur of the little Pups. Perhaps the approval of their friends who had never had the chance to have families of their own would be a good omen of sorts for the Pups' futures.

"Do not snap at me!" Arian growled, fire lighting her eyes. She spoke the same way with Galaxy as she would with a Warrior disobeying orders, and realized that only too late. I told Erle this would happen...I told him I would get impatient. I would get nervous and I would eventually snap. He knew I wanted a family. He had confidence I could do it. Why am I failing him now, of all times? She wondered if it was that simple fact. Erle didn’t come. He couldn’t have survived on his own. It was right next to impossible for any period of time, between enemy wolves, the cougars, and the pair of bears. Yet he hadn’t come for them. She’d told herself maybe he just hadn’t had the time to learn how yet, because she knew he would’ve been there if he could’ve been. "I know it’s hard. I do. You’re not the only one struggling, Galaxy, but you have two choices at this point. You can accept that he’s not here, move forward, and honour his memory, or you can keep fighting a useless battle, and put more and more distance between yourself and the living. He will come down for us one day. Wouldn’t you want to be there when that happens, rather than tromping through a forest?"

"Yup!" Smoke liked Pups, really, she did, even if she hadn’t been around them too much. The fact that she didn’t spend a lot of time in the nursery wasn’t because she didn’t like Pups so much as she didn’t trust herself not to teach them to prank the Alpha or mess up the herbs, and such was still the case now. "Soooo...being around Pups, I may or may not teach them to be general annoyances like me, so if I end up getting too out of hand at some point or something, stop me, 'kay? Cool," she added the last word without waiting for agreement.

Emit allowed himself a brief moment to dwell on his thoughts, then snapped himself out of it and trotted up to join his fellow Hunter again, awkwardly dipping his head to Kellin. "Got the rabbit? Moon would definitely appreciate it. I feel bad for her, y'know? I mean, it’s been more than a month, but she’s still got this really distant, almost eerie aura about her, like she’s still hoping and wishing Alpha Max would come back."

Night had just finished shredding her prey and burying the bones when she caught sight of Angel, seemingly glaring at someone. She followed his gaze to rest on Ginger. Ginger had for the longest time been a sweet enough she-wolf, but it seemed to have been a facade to hide her anger and bitterness. Night could understand that. She had been through a lot herself. She’d been bitter and angry too, but at least she’d had a semblance of control, channeling her anger into harder training more than taking it out of those around her. Finally, the brown furred Warrior sauntered up to Angel and sat down next to him, though kept a respectful distance from him. She knew when she was angry, bitter, or even just frustrated, she had never been one who had appreciated any closeness or offers of comfort.

"You’re mad by how easy she’s been let off, eh?" Night faced forward, rolling her eyes. "You ain’t the only one. I’ve learned the hard way that crimes need to be punished more firmly. Without a proper punishment, things might not actually sink in. The full gravity of a situation isn’t realized or learned from."
