I'm frustrated about this too so I decided to calculate how many tokens are needed to get each outcome...
So far and you need 55 nuts/bolts but only 27 trash tokens
To make matters worse all of the trash trades are 3x trash for 3 outcomes, but most nuts/bolts trades are either 4x bolts for 3 outcomes (so you spend more for less pets) or 3x bolts for 4 outcomes (so you have lower probability of getting what you want)
This isn't an attack on the event or anything, I'm having a great time, but I wanted to show the math to explain why so many of us are struggling rn

There are also four types of trash tokens and three nuts and bolts, so the likelihood of getting trash in the banner is a little bit higher.

Finding someone to swap has also been near impossible today

There are still lots of pets that haven't been released yet, everything should even out towards the end of the event.
