Well well well how the turn tables, looks like I was my own culprit all along!

Has anyone else found themselves clicking the wrong button when on the right-side of the carnival visiting one of the attractions, like the magic booth. and returning to the main carnival side? Then you have to click back over to the right carnival side. I keep doing that. I think it's a design thing.

On the left side, when you want to exit, there is either just one option or the lowest option brings you back to the bigger space. For example, when adopting a pet, you'll get an option to return to the attraction, and then below it, return to the Carnival. On the right side, there are always at least two options (and possibly three options if adopting a pet, for example). The two options to leave an attraction are stacked directly on top of each other and for are visually almost exactly the same, only a bit in brackets differentiate them. Based off the previous days gameplay experience, I guess I expect the lowest option the bring me back to the larger space that contains the attraction I was just at. It may be also, that the brackets aren't registering as important info to read, when I skim the options to exit, since brackets often are used to signal a side note, or extra info, a bit that might be useful, but not as important as the main sentence. The two things together, expecting the lowest option to bring me back to the right-side carnival, and not noting the brackets may be what is leading me to misclick.

I don't know, it's a small little thing that I kept noticing, and was just thinking about why it might be happening.

I've been doing this a lot as well! I think that I've registered the "go back to the area you were in" link as the last link before the bottom of the page rather than the first link after the bottommost (last, but earliest) quest. Kinda wish that there was only one link and that it would just take me to whichever area I was in lol

Yah, I think either getting rid of the option since there's already a couple ways to get to the carnival entrance in one click, or moving it to another location, like at the top each attraction page could work. Possibly even setting the option down a few lines might help, just to create more of a visual seperation.

I actually said something similar, apparently:
