Mossyoak ♟ 34 moons ♟ ♀ ♟ Apprentice: Sootpaw ♟ Mate/Crush: ♟ Tags: Sootpaw"𝒴𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓈 𝑒𝓃𝒹, 𝓎𝑜𝓊'𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝑜𝑜 𝑜𝓃 𝑒𝒹𝑔𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝒶𝒹𝓋𝒾𝒸𝑒;
T h e white molly’s paws moved quickly. She sorted leaves into two piles: leaves that were fresh, and those that had already been dried in the sun. The garden had been supplying Mossyoak and Sootpaw’s stores nicely. That didn’t quail the medicine cat’s nerves - no, the white queen’s paws were moving too quickly now, and her paw slid into the pile, scattering herbs. Mossyoak’s ears pinned back as she gathered them back into the pile with her paws. Her ears pricked back up at the sound of her apprentice’s voice.
“All right, all right,” Mossyoak murmured, waving a paw at him. “I’ll go check the garden. We just planted them a few sunrises ago...I doubt they’ve even sprouted yet.” The queen stood up and gave her pelt a vigorous shake. She hated leaf-bare. Her thin pelt did little to stave away the chill that was setting in the air. Prey was scarce, and guilt consumed her everytime she took a piece from the pile. Mossyoak only had the most rudimentary hunting skills as a resulting from just a moon of training, but she still tried to slip away and hunt during the cold seasons. That wasn’t likely to happen this year - with StarClan’s prophecy coming upon them quickly, her paws were needed in camp rather than in the forest.
As she began to pad from the den, Mossyoak glanced at Sootpaw. “You should put something on that,” she advised, eyeing his leg. “Your movements seem stiff.” And with that, the medicine cat padded from her den, heading towards the territory's newly planted garden.

Pineshadow ♞ 34 moons ♞ ♂ ♞ Apprentice: Sorrelpaw ♞ Mate/Crush: ♞ Tags: Valerianstar, Weakpaw, Sorrelpaw"𝕀 𝕘𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕦𝕡 𝕞𝕪 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕙 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 '𝕔𝕒𝕦𝕤𝕖 𝕀 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕚𝕥, 𝕒𝕟𝕕,
P i n e s h a d o w was already at the garden when Valerianstar arrived. The tom had assigned Sorrelpaw to tend the garden with some of her fellow apprentices. His apprentice was nearing her assessment, and he longed to take her to the training grounds to practice more advanced battle moves, but their paws were needed elsewhere. The garden had to be cared for so that Mossyoak and Sootpaw would be able to manage the sickness, and leaf-bare was coming, so the prey pile had to be stocked. While Sorrelpaw was busy with the garden Pineshadow had gone into the forest to hunt.
The ginger-and-white tom was burying two mice - one of which was quite fat, to his excitement - when Valerianstar arrived at the clearing. He padded towards her as she called for her apprentice. “Good morning, Valerianstar,” he mewed to his former mentor with a respectful dip of his head. “Hunting seems well this morning - I had luck in the forest. The pile won’t be empty tonight.” Pineshadow was proud of his mentor. She had risen in rank and now led BrumeClan valiantly and fairly. He tried to maintain a friendly relationship with her, though he couldn’t help but feel as if their bond would neve be the same as it had been now that Valerianstar stood so far above him.

Snakescar ♜ 57 moons ♜ ♂ ♜ Apprentice: Sealpaw ♜ Crush/Mate: ♜ Tags:"ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴍᴇ ɪғ ɪ sᴛʀᴜɴɢ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʟᴏɴɢ?
T r a i n e d muscle rippled under sleek pelt as Snakescar prowled through the forest. The tom didn’t know where his apprentice was, at the moment - frankly, he didn’t care. The tom didn’t like having an apprentice; he didn’t like the idea of a young cat relying on him. He kept his relationship with Sealpaw as formal as possible. Already that day the tabby had taken his apprentice to the training grounds and ran drills on battle moves. While hunting was the Clan’s main priority right now, he thought it foolish to neglect their other skills. He had sent Sealpaw back to camp once he was satisfied. Snakescar wanted his alone time.
The wiry forest rabbit practically sprang out in front of him. Snakescar’s eyes went to slits as the chase begin. He sprang after his prey, dirt flying up behind him. Speed wasn’t the warrior’s strong suit, but adrenaline spurred him on. The rabbit was suffering from leaf-fall’s sparcity already - it was slower than it should have been, giving Snakescar just enough time to leap. His paws landed squarely on its back, knocking it to the ground, where it remained stunned. A snow-white paw held it to the dirt as fangs caught the rabbit’s neck, ending it swiftly. Snakescar triumphantly lifted his catch.
It didn’t take long for the tom to make his way back to where his shrew was buried, and then from there to camp. He slid into the grassy clearing and headed towards the prey pile, where he dropped the shrew and rabbit. From there the tabby padded towards the edge of the clearing and settled down, beginning to groom his white chest fur.

W a t e r trickled from the moss clamped in Weakpaw’s jaws. She turned sideways and dropped the moss before surveying the dirt below her, now dampened. The seeds had yet to sprout, but the stirred soil gave away something had been planted there. Weakpaw hated garden duties. She felt they were a waste of her time - she had the makings of a strong, powerful warrior, she knew, and should be battle training. Her claws pricked the dirt as she unsheathed them in irritation, halfway tempted to scrape up the seeds and toss them into the grass of the forest. Her only satisfaction came when she slept - when Pantherhowl spoke in her dreams. She had been honored when the fallen warrior began training her. She didn’t care why Pantherhowl was doing it, she knew that the molly would bring her the power she so craved.
Weakpaw’s ears flicked back, pinning to her head at the sound of her mentor’s voice. She swallowed a growl as she turned to face the Clan leader, the malice vanishing from her eyes before she dared to move. “I think we’ve already gotten everything watered, Valerianstar,” the tortoiseshell mewed, padding towards her mentor. She flicked her ear to acknowledge Pineshadow.
