The court card usually ranking between the King and the Unter in a German-suited pack. The equivalent of the Queen in a French-suited pack. Formerly also Obermann ("overlord").

Unter
The court card usually ranking between the Ober and the Ten in a German-suited pack. The equivalent of the Jack in a French-suited pack. Formerly also Untermann ("underling").

Figured out what the letters on the dog cards mean! It's King, Ace, Ober, and Unter!

A pack of cards with the four suits: Acorns, Leaves, Hearts and Bells.

The 4 suits represent the four seasons (red) hot (black) cold
If you count all the symbols on the cards they add up to 365 like the days in a year
I think a friend that's a magician told me that years ago
