I swear to god it's Monster Carnival all over again. Wouldn't be surprised if one or all of the carnies are monsters. Alegria seems way too nice I'm pretty sus

I'm guessing it's none of the NPCs. At this point we don't have enough evidence to make a decent prediction and we're just blaming everyone.

Hmmm. I think its good to establish motives/alibis for everyone. As the event goes on we can see how it lines up!

Alegria:
Says she wants her circus to succeed.
Has been nothing but sweet to us.
Why would she want to sabotage her own circus?

Friendliness could be an act.
Could be holding a grudge against someone at the circus for her injury.
Could be trying to draw attention to the fair by getting in the news.

Unice:
Is constantly working on her carousel.
Why sabotage the park?

Has the mechanical know how to disrupt rides.

Tanya:
Seems nice and innocent.
Someone else could be sabotaging her plushies.
Why would she harm to fair?

Is brand new to the team.
Hasn't mentioned much about the occurrences at the park.
Could be messing up her own plushies.

Helio:
Gives cool ballon animals but seems insistent that we get on top of the trash problem.
Why would he do this though?

Has many arms to yeet trash.

Puck:
Takes pride in his food.
Why would he sabotage his chances of people finding out about his culinary art?

Could want the fair to close in order to start his own restaurant.

Scruff:
Why would do this though?

He has plenty of access to trash.

Ryder:
Why would they sabotage the park?
They could've been writing and letter innocently.

Was writing a secret letter that they don't seem to want to elaborate about.
Seems to have something against Barker.

Barker:
Why would he want to sabotage the park?

Is suspicious of Ryder and their magical abilities.
Has something against Ryder.

Pipsqueak:

Why would he want to sabotage the park?

Conveniently was asleep when more trash appeared.

Hm... very thorough. Was Pipsqueak really asleep? That's what I want to know.

It was Alegria,she was mad about her injury and took it out on the carnival. And now she rewards us for cleaning her mess just to dirty it up more.

the trash has been moving around the carnival from day to day, right? could be clues there, there are screencaps in the "past summer event images" archive thread
i suspect something is up with unice and the carousel. i was suspicious when she put emphasis on being "just a normal horse" on the first day when she's clearly a unicorn, but that's none of my business. however, i think the carousel animals themselves are the ones sabotaging the carousel, they want to run free and have fun at the carnival too instead of just going in circles.
on the other hand, or tentacle, as it were....

I'm suspicious of how quick Simon was to defend Helio... Simon's love of squid's could be clouding his judgment!

I’ve narrowed down the list of suspects via process of elimination.

Puck isn’t the culprit because he lost business to the saboteur. He is also requesting that people help pick up the trash.

Same thing with Unice, since she’s in charge of repairing the carousel and would have nothing to gain by destroying it because she would only be making more work for herself (and she did get the carousel up and running again, so she clearly wasn’t trying to free the carousel animals. Besides, trashing the rest of the park wouldn’t help accomplish that goal. I think we can rule it out as a motive altogether).

Helio is really bummed out by all the trash, and is requesting help in picking it up. I’m tentatively ruling out Helio for lack of motive.

Alegria bought the carnival, so it would go against her motives to sabotage it.

It’s possible that Scruff is the culprit, but it makes little sense because he appears to be the janitor (why would he make more work for himself?) On the other hand, he claims he hasn’t seen the culprit, and because the trash littered around the park was most likely taken from the trash can/recycling bins (including a crushed soda can), it makes it more likely that he has seen the culprit than the others. He might be the culprit, or the saboteur is stealthy enough to avoid getting seen.

Both Ryder and Barker have a motive, but I highly doubt that Ryder would make their own ball malfunction when Barker is on their tail. They’re also not spilling rumors about Barker unprovoked. This rules out Ryder.

Tanya has nothing for her or against her. We can’t rule her out just yet.

Pipsqueak was sleeping on the job, so I doubt he cares much about it. However, he appears to be too small to steal some of the larger pieces of trash on his own. On the other hand, his small size could let him sneak around the carnival easily and get into the trash without being caught. If he ended up being the culprit, he would’ve had an accomplice to help him out. I’m tentatively ruling him out due to logistics.

Barker could easily be the culprit. He seems the least enthused about the park, cares about stirring up drama, and is a magician, giving him the skills needed to stealthily destroy and trash the carnival.

There is also a mystery dog working with Puck, but I would be surprised if the mystery dog was the culprit.

Someone else mentioned the carousel animals being a possible suspect. I agree that if they were sentient, they would also have plenty of motive, but they wouldn’t be able to run free through the carnival to cause damage.

My vote is on Barker for now.
