Lakeclan has never been a very stable clan. It was created after two cl
ans merged to stick together and become one large clan, rather than t
wo small clans, constantly fighting over prey and territory. However, th
ings didn't change very much. Constant fighting broke out, and most ca
ts disliked each other. You'd think that over the years, things would cha
nge, right? For a few years, they didn't. But after many moons, things s
eemed like they were getting better. That was, until recently. A band o
f rogues attacked, killing many cats, including Lakeclan's leader and de
puty. A new leader was chosen after the medicine cat received an om
en but many are unsure if Starclan really chose the leader, but many o
thersare hoping that the new leader will try to help the clan grow stro
nger rather than tear them apart.

Lakeclan lives around a large lake, with not many predators or outsiders. Their camp is located in a forest near the shores.
The leader's den is under the roots of a tree, and the entrance is hidden by tall grasses. To its right is the warrior's den. The
warriors den is hidden under a den of ferns, leaves, and undergrowth. the entrance is hard to find, but the den is quite spac
ious. Moving on to the medicine cats den. The medicine cat's den is located under a rock, with extra space dug out for patien
ts. To its left is the nursery. The nursery is very similar to the warriors den, but a bit larger and hidden by a rock as well as pl
ants. The entrance to the apprentices den is a small tunnel, which leads into the rest of the den. The elders den is inside a l
arge, fallen log. The leader calls meetings on the smoothstone, which is a flat, cool stone in the middle of camp. The clan co
ntacts Starclan through the Regal Stones, a very old ring of stones with a small pool in the middle. The old camps from when
Lakeclan was two seperate clans still exist, in poor condition, but they're still used if a den or the camp gets flooded.

It is currently early newleaf. Most common prey are fish, birds, and mice/voles. Cougars can occasionally appear around the t
erritory, but otherwise stick to the farther ends of the territory. Large birds and foxes can be a threat to apprentices and kits.
