just got this guy from the pound, found out it's a VR from september 2008, but i know rats aren't really worth much compared to other species. how much is it worth roughly?

Although I don’t know it’s true worth because I can’t find many records of trades or info regarding that, I can say that panda rats have more demand than a lot of rats. The most recent trade I’ve seen for it is a swap for a 2016 store angel cheetah, but I believe even that is lowballing it. You could get at least 4 ‘09 rares for it.

The Panda rats are worth an early '09 very rare + a '10 rare and going for that
They don't have much more demand than most of the rats, there are only some people who are actively seeking it and might even overpay for them.

But they’re a 2008 VR. Shouldn’t they at least be going for their value which is 4 ‘09 rares? If I had one I’d never trade it for anything less than that, even if it isn’t worth anything more.

I agree. I would do it for 4 09 rares. I don't really care if its a rat, 4 09 rares.

The green dog is from Saint Patrick’s Day 2009. He’s worth 2 ‘09 rares or the 3 month rule.
The rat is also from 2009 and is worth the exact same <3

This guy is from October 2008. He’s worth 4 ‘09 rares or the 3 month rule <3 with the right trading partner, you may be able to trade him for a low advent, and they go for 3-4 ‘09 rares.

The pony is worth 2 2011 rares or the 3 month rule <3
The unicorn is worth the 3 month rule or 2 2011 rares, but there has been select demand for them with the right partner.
The green dragon has good demand and can go for 2-3 ‘09 rares with the right user <3

I’d say he’d be worth 3-4 ‘09 rares. Since he’s a true date, I’d value him at the higher end.
