velvetstar has always been wise upon his years, only getting smarter as
he grew up. his friends often came to him for advice, whether it was
something small like how to properly pluck the feathers from a pigeon
or something bigger, like how to talk to someone after you've hurt their
feelings. he is great with his words, knowing exactly how to talk down a
situation so that it is not as tense. he is very patient, great at keeping a
cool head even when he is being directly targeted. all of this tends to
make him see problems as not as big of a deal as they are, often causing
things to blow up in his face, but the defensive part of him would never
admit it to anybody else.

born into what-was-then ridgeclan to the deputy and a senior
warrior, velvetstar was born with high expectations of his personality
and actions. as a kit, he was pretty normal, using his days to play moss
ball with the fellow kits or bothering the apprentices and warriors until
they taught him something he would need to know in the future. when
he got his apprentice name, he was instantly always involved in training
sessions and patrols, fueled by his father's encouraging words to become
the best he could be. and then he got his warrior name, velvetfur, and
kept the same pattern up of working his hardest. he became deputy a
round the time he had fully grown in his adult coat, and then when the
leader died, he took his spot. at first, being leader proved to be as
hard of a job as he could assume, but soon he got it down, solving problems
as much as he could and as good as he could. by the time he reached ninety
moons old, velvetstar reached his last life, using it to lead his clan to a new
territory. now he knows that his time is coming, he feels the stress of his
decisions weighing down his shoulders, and he hopes he can make the right
decision for his clan.

appearance: jackaleye is a scraggly looking feline with rough dark brown tabby fur that tends
to get frequently matted. he is tall, thickly built, and well muscled from his own personal training.
his back and belly are riddled with scars from previous battles, but he never speaks of them. his
eyes are a cold, dull amber color that never seem to miss anything. he is an imposing force and
enjoys the intimidation factor.

personality: jackaleye is not a pleasant cat to be around. he is rude, self-centered, arrogant,
and calculating. he has a quiet, simmering air of anger about him that never seems to calm. he
seems not to harbor good will towards anyone else but his brother. he has a nasty, abrasive attitude
and lacks empathy. he is cutthroat in his one goal - keeping himself and his brother alive. while
never admitting it, he is capable of horrific cruelty in the name of survival.

history: neither he nor lionfeather like to dwell on their past much. both were born to a loner
mother who abandoned them before they reached the clan apprentice age. the pair of brothers
haven't left each others side since. they say they've have spent their loner lives traveling and
simply doing their best to survive. some are still suspicious of this...

appearance: lionfeather is a sand-colored tom cat ideal with blending into the desert
environment. his fur is short and well cared for, and his eyes are twin in color with his brother.
yet there is a kindness lionfeather's face holds, and his eyes seem to shine a bright gold. having
been the runt of the litter, he is small in stature and just as thin. curiously, there are hardly any
scars or mutilations that mar his body.

personality: somehow lionfeather is the polar opposite of his brother. he is sweet-tempered
and finds joy in the littlest of things. he might seem a bit dull or slow, but his optimistic attitude
and happiness is infectious. he has a great amount of empathy for others and he is always willing
to provide an ear for listening. he is forgiving in nature, gentle-hearted, and humble. he alone
is able to keep jackaleye in check and keep him from doing unnecessary harm.

xxxDuskhowl is a very quiet tom, staying focused on his own duties. Things have always come easy for Duskhowl, his skill coming more form inter talent rather than hard work. Unlike his sister Dawnpaw, he has never really needed to work extra hard in his training. Things come naturally for Duskhowl, and he can easily get frustrated with a challenge. He doesn't make friends easy due to his blunt attitude and more serious nature. He can be pretty brave, not really thinking about consequences of his actions in the moment. As a kit, however, he was more rambunctious and reckless. When the rogues attacked Ridgeclan, he had witnessed his own mother's death after she had left the nursery to protect him and his sister. When he ran to her, she told for him to go back to protect Dawnkit before she died. Since, he mostly stays quiet.

While she values her clan strongly, she is very
self reliant and dislikes taking help from others.
Before the clan moved, she felt deserving of the
relaxation being an elder/retired warrior provid-
ed her, but she never tolerated any coddling. Now,
she finds herself more ashamed of her position
than anything. While she loves to gossip and will
frequently give advice that no one asked for, she
keeps many personal secrets close to her chest,
and she'll take anything told to her in confidence
to her grave. Prone to boredom, Troutnose is
known to stretch her personal limits and clan rules,
though she has settled down with age. «

» Troutnose has always been the adventurous, story-telling type. Being
endlessly friendly and charismatic, she is often found entertaining the
clan kitsand apprentices with tales of her younger days. Since she was
born a rogue and didn't join the clan until she was 25 moons, there is a
lot of speculation as to whether or not these theatrical tales are true.
Despite her origins, the elder is fiercely loyal to her clan- it was where
she met her mate, had her kids, forged strong relationships. Troutnose
feels as though she knows better than anyone else the value of the
strong camaraderie that was found in Ridgeclan, and she is determined
to maintain it in Duneclan. A broken leg from before Ridgeclan was att-
acked never healed properly: she is not as agile as she once was, leaving
her disheartened that she cannot help her struggling clan as much as her
more capable clan-mates. However, Troutnose is as tough in spirit as she's
ever been, and is willing to push her self as far as possible to help her
clan.

this was a fun little piece of coding since I'm so rusty... even if it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted ^^ fun fact, the constellation up there is norma- wanted it to be something meaningful but nothing else was super doable so we're stuck with norma cx let me know if I need to change anything and I'd like for her to have some kin- like a mate and maybe a sibling or some offspring- let me know! I'll admit I have my eye on velvetstar as her mate ;) look at me over here just assuming I'll be accepted ^^ text so small you need a magnifying glass that's the name of the game cx
