please remember to be grateful towards all the hard work staff put in to this event even if you dont particularly like the concept <3 they worked hard to please us all, and besides, theres always a twist or something in the plot! this might not be your ordinary carnival!

I can kind of agree, I was hoping to have a bit more for the first day of the event too considering how long it took for it to come around. And I kind feel disappointed because I used to run a rp that was a carnival and man, bad mix.
But still thank you to all the staff for all your hard work!
Yes agreed with all the above! Not knocking the art and effort everyone put into it; everything looks great and I canβt say how much I appreciate all the work staff do to give everyone a fun event every year. However, an urban kind of theme like this seems to me to really miss the mark of the appeal of CS. Arenβt we here because we love animals and nature, not because we want to see more human buildings and trash than we already have to in real life?
I'd argue that it's still the first day! We've had simple vacays before like the beach and jungle! The little spirit guys in the jungle event didn't appear until a few days in! I'm still excited to see what happens!

Can I just give a shout out to the artists and mention how much I love that on this year's map we actually see the NPCs in the artwork?
Every stall has its pet drawn into it, and I think that's a really cute touch, since our maps usually only show the scenery :D

Ooooh Carnival? Eeeeeeeeee!
Love it.
I really hope we get a light and a dark side - Dark Carnival could be amazing - but I know it's not to everyone's taste, so am happy with whatever we get. This has so many possibilities. This might even overtake the Dreamlands event as my favourite. We shall see! Exciting!

YES!!! I love that we can see them! It's very creative I'd say!

I definitely agree. That was one of the first things I noticed. It makes the map really lively.
