I’m a bit late to the discussion. Does anyone know what the draft horses are based on? I’m thinking owls or some other bird but I’m not sure

I don't know if the artist has confirmed anything, but they do look like some kind of bird, maybe quail?

They're all based on species of finch (with some artistic liberties of course! c; )
The blue dots on the foal's mouth refer to the feeding beads some species possess when chicks!
The finch species are: Society finch, shaft tail finch, European goldfinch, and owl finch!

Ah thank for confirming! I could not figure it out and they’re so beautiful I desperately wanted to see the species they’re based on ☺️

and this one i assume is just meant to be flowers. like spring, summer has a lot of flowers! but i can also easily see it being sort of pattern you might see on a summer dress, etc.


i guess i can't 100% confirm either as what they are based on though!

same haha! i have a food hoard and this guy was put into my bakery part of the hoard as i thought it was based on cake. now i can't unsee icecream though.

but super curious to know what the flower hamster is actually based on, that one is definitely a little confusing! i noticed the leaves aren't green which makes me believe it's some sort of pattern instead of real flowers. i really like the painted look it's got though!

The hamsters are summer themed! I designed them with things in mind that I associate with summer.
I wanted them to stay in the blue - yellow - orange color range, which is why the leaves of the flowers are blue instead of green!

Lemonade • Flower Meadow • Water • Beach • Ice cream • ???
