[Genesis_]

After a herd of twolegs destroyed their camp, Thicketclan was forced to relocate. After a couple moons of traveling and finding the right area, the clan finally found the perfect place; this time, in a a thick, dense forest. The clan, used to an open meadow with significantly less trees, are having to get used to living in such a different place. Most cats were excited about the new area, however, there are still those who aren't fans of the new camp and think they should've kept looking.

Only a moon after relocating, a lot of cats have gotten used to their new location, however some are still trying to adapt. Not only to the surroundings, but to the new training and hunting lessons that have been added due to the increase in trees.Those young enough not to remember the move, are getting along great while those used to previous methods are still struggling to adapt.

This is the clearing in the middle of camp.



This is the leaders den. To get to it, you must climb up some roots. Right outside this den is where most, if not all, announcements take place.



This is the medicine cat's den. Herbs are stored between roots where there is no place to lay. Beds are made between roots with wide spaces between. Extra beds may be made by putting sticks and twigs in between roots that don't have enough space for a cat in order to make a flat surface to make the bed on. In the upper right corner of the den is a sort of second level where the medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice sleep.

All dens are located on the edges of the clearing. All den beds are made up of primarily moss, with whatever feathers and soft fur can be found (all feathers are reserved first for elders, any extras go towards the other beds).

Brackenstar was up early, just as the sun was rising. These days, the tom didn't get much sleep. There was always something that required his attention. Whether it was complaints from the cats that didn't like it here, or injuries from cats missing their footing on the new land or even marking the new scent lines. For now, the tom lay right outside his den, watching as the clan began to wake.

Pearfluff stretched in her nest as she awoke. Or at least, stretched as much as she could with her two kits cuddled up next to her. Now awake, the queen turned her head back and started grooming herself, trying her best not to disturb her kits.

Mossflight emerged from the warriors den with a yawn. Being careful not to trip over roots, the tom found his way to the center of camp before finding a nice spot to lay down. He knew there would be patrols arranged soon, and felt it best to wait and see if he got called for one.

Sagespot was not an early riser. Still asleep, the she-cat was plagued with nightmares. The she-cat was one of the many cats that lost someone important to her on the journey to their new camp, which filled her nightmares with dread as they appeared, shouting at her to save them. Outside her mind, her body twitched in her nest, the only indication of her repeating nightmares.

Feeling her mother starting to move about, the white she-kit woke up, eyes blinking as they adjusted to the world. Whitekit's tummy grumbled as the rest of her body began to wake up. Letting out a tiny mewl, the she-kit started suckling at her mother's tummy, filling herself with her mother's milk, kneading her mother's stomach with her paws as she did so.

Stormheart shook the moss from his fur as he carefully stepped his way around the other warriors who were still asleep in their nests. Emerging out into the early morning sun he could see a few of his clanmates already up and about, including their leader, who he gave a respectful nod to before settling down in the clearing to wait for the rest of the clan to rise. He was already beginning to plan out what he would do with Cherrypaw for the day.

Nightfrost followed a few of her clanmates out of the den. Noticing Mossflight resting in camp she trotted over and sat down next to her friend. "Morning. Getting used to the new place?"

Wolfpaw jumped to his feet in his nest, quickly grooming out the small tangles in his fur before bounding over the rest of the apprentices to the front of the den; making sure to poke his sister in the side and wake her up before he made his way out into camp. Noticing his mentor talking to their leader he padded quickly over to her, "Morning. What're we doing today Feathercloud?"

Willowpaw hadn't been able to sleep all night. Shewas restless— she didn't know why. She left her dry moss bed and crawled out to the clearing in the camp, tripping on a root on her way out. Embarrassed, she curled her tail close to her body and prayed to StarClan that nobody had seen her. Willowpaw gave her shoulder a lick and straightened up, not letting her blunder shake her. She began gazing around the camp, seeing her brother already talking to his mentor. Wiggling her haunches, she began to sneak up on him, ready to pounce as soon as he was done.

The white molly yawned quietly as her adopted brother slept, his ginger-and-white ticked pelt rising with every breath he took. Feathercloud sighed and gently moved from the spot to head out of the den. She noticed Brackenstar right outside his den. "Good morning, Brackenstar. How was your night?" Noticing her apprentice coming around beside her, she smiled a bit. "I plan on taking you hunting."

Ravenfeather blinked the sleep from her eyes, the soft glow of the dawn light washing up at her paws. Looking at Splashpaw as he slept, the she-cat decided to go in search for herbs. Dawn is not my time anymore. Ravenfeather did not ask for a warrior as she could handle herself. A she made it out of camp, the soft glow of morning light lit the path below her. We need quite a bit of borage with all the queens.

Ashcloud sighed as the dawn light gently filtered into the nursery. She wasn't a fan of the heat the sun gave off but it didn't bother her if it was early. The queen stood in her nest, giving her body a shake before laying back down.
