Lazarus was spacily staring at a blank document file titled "qqqq" before Cazenar stormed in, trying to force himself to write something. "We do?" Lazarus asked, snapping out of his writer's block trance as he rose from his seat. "I'm very awake, though! What's the business?"

I'm thinking Laz is still a little dazed by A Large Sum Of "Waking Up Early And Feeling Like Writing but Having What Feels Like A Negative Amount of Ideas," and probably woke up a little too early but it happens and he's probably also getting that "I woke up at like, 4 or 5 and couldn't go back to sleep so time feels less real than normal" thing going on? He's at least been up 2 hours before Cazenar came in, whatever time this is, so he's basically just Conscious and Decently Sleep-Refreshed but Time Isn't Real.]]

"You're awake? How long have you been awake? Could we have been hanging out at night? Anyway, Three's awake, and responding to my texts at last, so we need to go and meet their baby! I'm going to be the coolest uncle!"

"Just a couple of hours... Couldn't fall back asleep so I tried to write and... I have been drained of any good concepts whatso- baby? There's a baby? When did that happen? If anything- hold on, I should..." He started scouring the depths of his cloak's hammerspace access in hopes of finding something worthy of granting the baby with. If there was any baby of any sort, it was in many cases rude to not bring a gift as far as he knew. Especially for first baby meetings.

"Don't you check your messages?? Three found a clone baby in their mum's old fortress and now they're raising it, I guess? Aurion was there and he told me, and then I messaged everyone, probably including you. We need to visit the baby! Do you have any, uh, baby gifts? I have hardly any stuff because I blew my room up, and Three says not to bring glitter, in case the baby inhales it and chokes or something. So I'm having to look beautiful without glitter. Which, luckily, I'm very good at, but it makes me sad. So if you have anything for the baby, or for me, that'd be great."

"Oh- right, right, kinda went straight to- wait... what time did you- Not important, searching for baby gifts is! Well, on your part there's... whatever you asked me to hold onto but as for baby gifts I'm grasping at void. Literally, I'm not sure if I can- oh?" Lazarus pulled out a small board book with one of those little finger puppets attached. "Fitting! Early literacy is important! I wonder if I can find more of these... but there's probably no time, a story about..." He quickly flipped through the pages, which were small in word count but seemingly filled with cute imagery. "A frog hopping around with its friends will have to do!" He closed up the book gently. He preferred not to slam books that weren't his and especially not ones intended as gifts and double especially he didn't want to crush the puppet. That was important.

"I mean, we're not exactly in danger of the baby growing too big to be cute any time soon. So sure, find the wrapping paper." Cazenar flopped down on Lazarus' bed. "Oh also, do you want this?" He pulled out a jewel encrusted dagger. "I stole it from Aurion. I think it's cursed."
