Back at the Academy, Aurion went to set down his trolley of books and powerful and rare artefacts in his room, while Professor Ulik returned to her office, asking Three to come and see her once they had time. Three entered a nearby abandoned office, sitting down and looking at the DarkBoard portal.

"DarkBoard? This is... a baby. Maedryn's baby. My baby? I found them at her fortress in, I think, a stasis chamber, and I believe them to be another clone, and I'm going to look after them now. Could you scan them please, and see if I'm right about them being a clone, and if they're a normal human child, or whether they'll have particular needs? Baby, this is DarkBoard. They run the Academy, and they're incredible."

"This infant is a partial clone of Maedryn the Quantum Witch," DarkBoard confirmed, scanning them, "Created 59 days ago and held in stasis until 42 minutes ago. In all other respects, they are as weak and overall badly designed as a regular human newborn. Congratulations on your fragile flesh infant, Three."

"Thank you. They are a wonderful fragile flesh infant." They looked down at the baby. "You are a wonderful fragile flesh infant. Could you help me obtain some... baby equipment, DarkBoardf? I don't entirely know what I'm looking for. Lucas, do you know much about babies?"

"...Some things. Some random knowledge here and there, but I know some basic stuff and anything Lazarus has told me... uh, as for baby equipment, uh- do you mean... toys? I mean, when it comes to toys, you want things that are... easy to grasp with uncoordinated baby hands, and hard to choke on... um, maybe things for teething. Maybe some soft toys or ones with the little... uh, well, rattle toys, the ones with the... shaky stuff that makes noise. Babies... like chewing on things, I think. It's good to supply a baby with things to chew on so they're less likely to chew on things that aren't intended for that. No guarantees on that, though. Oh- you'll want outlet covers. They're not toys, but baby fingers are definitely small enough to fit in outlets and... well, babies are usually curious and electricty isn't good for human babies. I think you'll have time for that, though... they don't seem old enough to crawl? I don't think so, anyways, especially since they were in stasis and might not have much support developed. Oh- and things that they can't use to suffocate themself. That's very important, I think... Too big and they might block their nose and mouth, but too small and they might try to eat it whole and choke. So..." He tried thinking about things you'd find in baby aisles at normal, non-Inamonthian stores. "There's a lot more to babies than just that though... of course there's the formula thing, which we have covered for the moment, the baby will definitely need clothes... I assume babies grow fast for how often the clothing sizes change, um... diapers. Those are necessary about until they're toilet trained... car seats are good for if you plan on going anywhere in a vehicle with a baby... strollers are good for if you need to travel with a baby but don't want to hold said baby, but baby carriers offer a more compact and closer solution to that... I'm trying to think of more... I guess I know more about babies than I thought..."

i think lucas and lazarus almost definitely catch onto that she's just up and teleporting and at some point they barely even question it, like, i mean... close enough, right? it counts. never said the friend was in Inamonth. though, we couldve came with, it's nice seeing three and morgan.
hmmm i wonder if the board game squad would interact much post all this stuff,,, like the academy changes and graduation and whatnot? itd be neat to try and think about where they are then. i mean of course voidage and dvs are raising their admittedly much more apt to break the fourth wall clones for the Cartoon Series and we already know what lucas and lazarus are up to (though im not sure EXACTLY what lucas is up to i just know he's doing science). as for the mc3 theyre,,, idk. the other squad is also idk but im sure her coolness and vox are also having space adventures or something. ]]

Could you connect me to, um, a baby shopping website? And not a villainous one. Just.... somewhere that makes good quality baby things. And would you, um, mind telling the debt dragons I'll sort this out with them later? I just haven't had a chance to sell the fortress yet, and this is very urgent, and I have a lot to sort out today. I'm sorry."

There was no response, other than a website starting to load up.

"You shouldn't always listen to DarkBoard," Three told the baby. "They can be quite rude, sometimes. But I assure you, it's not personal. And they won't hurt you. They simply-" Three went still suddenly, their eyes widening. "You... you urinated on me. Right. That's fine. DarkBoard, could I get some disinfectant, please? And immediate... nappy supplies? Lucas do you know how to put a nappy on? I haven't done it before and I don't want to get it wrong and hurt them. DarkBoard, do you have instructions?"

I have Scorpius and Kinistra going and re-establishing the order of the Quantum Knights, who Maedryn destroyed, and being Space Heroes.

I am less sure about Aurion and Cazenar, other than that they're probably hanging out in a fantasy genre trying to destroy each other. I need to decide if they have kids, I feel like Aurion would want some? Cazenar doesn't particularly but does very much want to be a Cool Uncle. Possibly Aurion just helps Three raise Morgan a lot. Or gets his own kid, who Three also helps raise, and Caz is not super involved but like, takes them out on fun trips every weekend.

Three's still in contact with all of them, plus Val and Phil. Cazenar is Very Distressed to realise Phil is a cooler uncle than he is.

EDIT: No wait obviously what happens is that Aurion gets a kid and then every week Cazenar Kidnaps his nemesis' child and sends him mocking taunts about how aurion will never save them, and then they go and have a fun day out and the kid is just "yeah I can't wait for the weekend, my cool uncle/other dad promised to take me to a theme park next time he kidnaps me!!"))

Seb) 'verse, it'd be nice if Lucas and Lazarus were still in contact with Aurion and Cazenar, mayhaps, and Bon Voidage and DVS would be more than down to invite their second mate and whoever their second mate associates with for... any form of sailing. They're not gonna turn on Scorpius over this because As Long As You Aren't That One Jerk Funeral Planner Hero or That Weird Snake Thing Voidage Made With Her Mind Once, you're alright. Usually.
and of COURSE Three still interacts with Lucas and Lazarus, 'specially considering that Lazarus Has, In Fact, At Least One Class, and, also their kid is friends with their kid, what was one to expect? also... really gotta decide what Specifically Lucas is Doing because, yes, Science, but like... is he doing stuff at the Academy (would bring in more Leonnie and Morgan interaction if they brought her along sometimes/she just brings herself along when she get bored of school (they have no idea where she picked that up or if it's just that Her School Might Suck) or is he just... trying to figure out more things about Inamonth so they can be Defined? either would be fun...

alright, well, upon thinking about the others some more, Ignatius might start cosplaying? and he's still a kid, his interests could change a TON and now he's just suddenly bored of being villainous but that demon lord who provided Dev's soul sort of tries to keep him doing evil but Ig just... makes cosplay "for... evil purposes" (BLATANT LIES) and probably gets into some other stuff but since he did a ton of his Academy stuff as a kid he has random villainy information burned into him and probably makes weird villainy references his peers don't get. He's just Vibing, As One Might. though, as an adult he's probably just A Somewhat Mundane Scientist who Has A Somewhat Normal Life, Except For The Fact That He's Made Vessels For So Many Beings/Souls, It's Getting To Be A Bit Much. Dev is probably out putting more souls in rocks for an eventual Plot MacGuffin Quest For Some Random MC and Pavlov will be... mongoosing and maybe doing some random stuff with Devdemn and maybe at that point the tension has died down (though Pavlov probably hasn't forgiven him completely; what's a villain without a little grudge? saying he's still trying to villain and not just Be Petty Toward Devdemn) but Pavlov will probably have tried to exact revenge on Aforementioned Soul Provider. As I said, HC and Vox are doing Space Stuff and all that jazz, but more specifically, they've got Rom with them too! Probably a lot of dimensional travel and Weird Alien Things Happening.

oh i've made an oc, but for once... HE'S A HERO. his name is percy and while he is a bnha oc he can be detached from that. he just Likes the villain aesthetic and dramatics but knows he's bad at being mean so he up and decided heroism was the way to go. he can teleport but it relies on his line of sight and how hydrated he is. strange setup but i came up with him on the fly yesterday and somehow i've developed him SO MUCH that i barely know how to start. i can say his Level of Dramatics fluctuates often and he is either Haha Awkward, Anxiety and Shyness Time? Burnout? Trying To Manage The Fact That People Sometimes Make Fun Of You And You Don't Have Good Comebacks? "Good," Three lay the baby down carefully, unwrapping Aurion's cloak for them. "I hope Aurion forgives the urine on his cloak."

Maybe look at the reviews? I'll look something up, maybe the internet knows of better criteria for this than I do... but what I knew off of the top of my head should help you get started?" He proceeded to get to researching.

also i have a Strange Amount of Baby Information, Moreso Than The Average Older Sibling because I read parenting magazines and websites in my free time like a madman as a child, before I even had siblings. Seriously, what fourth(? don't remember when I started) grader does that? Not to mention that I still enjoy parenting advice collumns and the occasional "Funniest Parenting Tweets of the Week" so, because of this I Don't Know How Much The Average Person Should Know About Babies and Children. It's... probably messing up things for me right now in RP'ing Lucas's Amount of Baby Knowledge but Inexplicable Stuff Happens to Those Who Have Been In Inamonth Long Enough Maybe IDK I Can Make Something Up. Y'know, for all I know Lucas got his hands on some parenting magazines as a kid (cruelly ironic) and he's just pulling all this knowledge from a weird corner of his mind he's forgotten about.]]
