I am 100% in support of the points made in this thread

I have adored chicken smoothie for many, many reasons over the years, and I just do not want to see it go down. CS was always a comfort thing to me, a place where I felt like I could simply just enjoy my time and be safe. But after a while of being on this site, it had become apparent to me that it’s not like it used to be. I actually used to absolutely love seeing Tess and Nick interact with us, and it made me feel connected to the site even more, because seeing the big guys listening to us and hanging out with us was so reassuring and welcoming.

I have seen so many of my friends quit, not only because of issues with the atmosphere on Chicken smoothie becoming less friendly than it used to be, but because interest in the game has just diminished over time. There was a time when we were getting new species linearts, fun and interactive events, and updates that helped us stay in the loop.
Now, it’s disappoints me to say it, but CS is just not offering that warm and fresh feeling it once did. And it makes me very sad.

I heartbreakingly agree with this, and everything else that's been said. I've been here for close to 9 years and in the last few it's really slowed down. I used to obsess over this when I was younger, but now I couldn't care less about a lot of things. It has started to collapes in on itself. There's little updates, nothing new, and staff that just don't care like they used to... I loved this site. But not so much anymore. There needs to be serious change, and soon

The title was mostly to grab attention, serious attention. If we had called it "save/help/show us you care" again chances are it'd have been ignored like the last few threads. c:

true, true. but it seems we've gotten a fair bit of attention already :PP it seems now there are a few users coming in without reading other replies much and just repeating that selling seems drastic. ofc changing the name is a minor issue but i figured i would mention it <:-D

I understand your confusion. But selling CS is still on the table. We may have gotten Nick's attention, but just barely. The fact of the matter is, the admins have their own lives, which is restricting their ability to help CS.

There's no shame in that, either. They're adults with jobs, families, ect. But CS is part of my family, and I don't want to see it perish.

So if they have to sell CS for it to continue to flourish, so be it, in my opinion.

Selling the site is a terrifying thought to me, even as a last resort. But other than that, full support!
