Honestly, nick could’ve at least addressed the point that we all care about. What he said obviously made most of us mad, and most people here are expressing valid points. Nick obviously skimmed over a message and decided to reply to that one, while avoiding the topic we all care and want to know more about.

lets not spam this but use this thread to voice opinions about the matter at hand. this thread was created because many of us felt ignored and frustrated, and we wanted to make sure we were heard, and not alone in this. its incredible that this thread as gotten so much attention! but again, we dont want it locked because of 'hate speech' or 'bullying' or 'spam' !! please be respectful to others, even if they share an opinion that opposed yours <3

If we want any real change we must come together as a level-headed, decisive community who has our values and wants in check. Lets please instead of fighting in any way, instead discuss what we would like to see from CS, and use our collective voice to help push for change.

i understand being frustrated, and stand by the community. nick, you truly did miss the point of the thread but i'm glad you attempted to address something. however we expected something more constructive than something to ease the paranoia of disagreeing with staff. i understand correcting wrong information however nothing else we're asking of you was addressed or even acknowledged. with all due respect, it really does make your response seem like there's selective hearing among higher ranks, especially with what lacuna stated before with not getting expected responses from higher ups. if you can't deliver the change we ask for that's fine, but we at least want acknowledgement that it can't be done. some sort of response to the topic of the thread's primary point of wanting change as a whole along with your response would've been enough at least. a straightforward answer about the possibility of positive change is all we ask for, not only for the community but volunteer staff. you've put plenty effort into keeping this site afloat for this long, and many would be disappointed to see it go to shambles because we can't get a to-the-point answer.

all we want is a simple yes or no to the things we've asked on the thread. what you addressed was important, but isn't enough.

I'm sorry I didn't respond to all of the concerns in this topic in that one comment, but I just felt that I had to address the statements that there isn't enough/any moderation, when we have a hardworking team of mods who are here every day. This is a big community to manage and I understand we don't always manage to moderate every post.

We're deep in the preparations for our Summer event. Sorry, I don't have any big new site features in the pipeline to announce at the moment, but I'm still committed to improving CS. I will be implementing more of the user suggested features, that have unfortunately built up a bit.

As someone who joined only a bit ago I won't be the best at responding but if the one of the admins can get a good response at hand then nick is proving us right that maybe that site does need to be sold

in all seriousness though the site would benefit from owners that cared. If they would just take an hour out of their day to care about the site they made them honestly everything would be much nicer. Will they? Probably not. That's the point of getting heard so maybe, just maybe, they will understand that the site will die if they just stop caring for it. this site means quite a bit to me I've made amazing friends and adore these dumb lil pixels but if the boss let's it go to chaos then they don't deserve any more of my time or money.

Nick & tess please for the love of gah listen to the people that play your game, we just want you to spend time and check up on it or sell it to someone who will take care of it.

while i see the issue and i can understand where we are all coming from, i feel like there could have been better communication here. we can voice our opinions and the issues we have without being rude or impolite. i understand it' frustrating, but being rude is never the answer to achieve means to an end. believe me, i wish the issues were addressed too. i believe creating a thread with "sell chicken smoothie" wasn't the right way to go about things. i'm not saying this to invalidate any of you, i'm on your side 100%. i appreciate the staff members that have responded to this thread letting us know we are heard and that they are on our side. we all can and should make a change. i know discussions get heated, but we all want the same thing. i enjoy my time here and this community, please let's keep the peace. <3

this. we greatly appreciate you for speaking up, nick, but i think some of the things said from you and other staff on this thread have proven the point of the OP. we're concerned for the site, and we want it to succeed. that's why we became frustrated when the most important points of the suggestion weren't addressed.
