MATTIAS | Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Athena, Pups | Location: Nursery
"Of course. That’s what I’m here for, isn’t it?" Mattias had promised a long time ago that he would be a good father. As good a father as he could possibly be, and maybe he didn’t know exactly what that meant, or what it entailed, but he WOULD do his best, even if between his Warrior duties and his parenting, he was worn down to almost nothing, it would be worth it to see him family happy and healthy, surely!
SHADOW | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Rubin | Location: Meet Hollow
Beta Rubin has a very unique style. Attack, counterattack, dodge. Each is a single, nothing is combined. A dangerous style on his end, it could cause him some issues, but it looks like he knows how and where to use it. He managed to get a few good blows on me. Shadow mused.
The Alpha lunged once again, only for a heartbeat wishing she was of average size and could slide right under him to claw his belly, but she was not average sized. She was large by any standards, which made her better for brute strength attacks, and so that was exactly what she used, rushing at Rubin and turning her body at the last second to try and slam the majority of her weight agains the smaller wolf.
SIRA | Hunter | F-Pack | Tagging: Feluris | Location: Meet Hollow
Sira's expression didn’t change at all. She just nodded. "I’m glad. I know of some wolves who believe this truce may end like the last one. In chaos and ruin. I wanted to see if I could gather opinions on that," She explained. It must have seemed an odd question, coming out of the blue all of a sudden. Of course, she wouldn’t and couldn’t say the whole truth. Not yet, but she wouldn’t cover up with a lie either.
KARTER | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Storm | Location: Fire Border
Us. Storm had referred to herself more than once as if she was still one of the Lightning wolves. That had been no accident, he told himself, it had been intentional, because she was a Lightning wolf at heart. Or at least, he hoped, and for a brief moment, a mixture of hope and awkwardness sparked through him. It would be terribly awkward for her to come home with all that’s changed, but...it was still HOME. Then the young, pale furred she-wolf spoke of Spitz, and for a moment, Karter was confused. Had she forgotten him? He had stopped them both. She had been lucky enough she could flee when Shadow had given her blessing to find her sister. The same blessing to leave had not been granted to Karter himself. He’d spent too long being litter and regretful, but it had never stopped.
"I have to wonder if it’s where he originated from, but he was with the Lightning Pack since before I was born." Karter's pale eyes narrowed to tiny slits. "He said he was guarding the nursery in the big battle, but some Warrior he makes. The Pups were attacked, and Aala would’ve been attacked by that cursed she-wolf Octavia if not for the Alphas," He remembered. "Spitz stood and watched, and still calls himself a Warrior."
Worry crossed his face as she spoke. "Okay? What’s the matter?" Then she had stopped, and he momentarily closed his eyes, as if that could block out the look of shock and dismay on his former Packmate's face. "Aala and I? Well...apparently she liked me from the time we first met, about two years ago. Maybe a bit more. I didn’t really talk to her for a long time though, and overtime, things changed. About two months ago, we fell in love and...now we have Pups, though a couple of them have caused us a fair bit of...distress." He froze as she asked about THEM. "What?!? You thought we were...?" He shook his head vigorously. "I WISH!"
That was the truth. Karter had spent a long time wishing that things had been different. Too long. In the end, he’d even spoken to Aala regarding it before they actually began their relationship officially, and she had back then tried to soothe his nerves with the simple explanation that Storm wasn’t there, and Karter and Aala both were. Had it been a good reason? No. Had it felt like reason enough in his conflicted state at the time? Yes. He felt a fool for it again now though. That had been enough to help him to recover. What did that say about him? Even more, did that feel valid now, while he stood there, looking upon the first Wolf he had ever loved? Absolutely not. He was about to respond to this when she had spoken again. Then Storm admitted she had once loved him. His heart seemed to stop for a long moment. No way...we always just joked around and goofed, I never thought... Karter couldn’t even finish the thought.
"You...loved me?" His heart ached like it had only once before, when she had first left. This was the absolute WORST time to say anything, but it had been Storm who had asked the question in the first place. He nodded. "I did. I do. That’s part of the reason I tried to make you stay. I thought that one day...things could be different. And they are, but not necessarily for the better. I never said anything, you never said anything. I didn’t know what to think. I thought we were just best friends, but...I guess we’ve both figured out tonight the consequences of holdin' your tongue too long."
Far too long. On one hand, Karter was elated he’d gotten the chance to see her, even if they interaction at the moment was a BIT awkward. On the other hand, he wished he hadn’t come at all.
