originally born an outsider, finch's upbringing is probably the cause o
f his persona today. his mother a former clan cat, had left the clan t
o be with the tom she wanted, not caring what the cats thought of h
er, she had no plans to return anyway. soon finch and moth were bo
rn, sometime in late green-leaf. during their early moons, they were
more or less on their own. due to this the two grew close, having q
uite the bond. however, the following moons would test this. as the
y began to grow older, finch began to develop more and more like
his mother - he wasn't very committed, didn't really follow any set r
ules and always seemd to be getting himself into trouble. the two c
ame in contact with many near-death experiences, finch enjoying th
e thrill while moth not so much. soon enough, moth suggested they
go find the clan their mother was originally from - but finch was aga
inst the idea. one night though, he was awaken by a storm - and noti
ced moth was gone. after following her fading scent, he glimpsed he
r form - only to loose it after a tree fell and blocked his path. finch
ran for shelter and for the longest time, never knew what happened
to moth - he presumed her to be dead. the tom lived on his own for
awhile, having fun and simply enjoying life at its best. soon enough,
he found himself into trouble again - this time without the aid of his
sister moth. he unfortunately suffered an injury. thankfully, he was n
ear the border and moth - now mothfern - appears and with the hel
p of a patrol they bring him back to camp. not wanting him to leave
she convinced him to join the clan. he's been there since...but that
doesn't mean he's exactly...changed any. because he hasn't. ─────

@liamthehedgehog although medicine cat apprentices are technically closed right now i'll allow riverpaw since she's likely close to receiving her full name. if river does end up joining a clan at some point he will likely have to change his name to avoid having two cats with the river- prefix, but otherwise you're good to go.

@phayraoh haha yees, he's a bit rough around the edges but he means well. probably butted heads a bit with tigersiege but would think well of her and stagfell!

@pastel flygon not technically, i was just waiting until we had 6 apprentices total to roll for mentors. i will assign all apprentices their mentors before the roleplay starts through random number generator and some factored priority here and there (ie user with a cat who has an apprentice would be lower priority than a user where none of their cats have an apprentice).

i would prefer to hold off on starting the roleplay until high ranks in all clans are filled. currently we're missing
- stoneclan's leader
- moorclan's second medicine cat (with wildsights reservation)

@Cains. Yep, I was actually was thinking the same thing where you said if River joined Stoneclan! If he did join, I think he might be called Rainpaw (to Rainwhisper) or Tidepaw (to Tideshine) or just simply Rain or Tide if older apprentices work like that in Warrior cats?

if you are not particularly feeling playing the leader definitely don't feel pressured to make a cat to fill the role! i dont want anyone to feel pressured to make characters they might not have fun with

Mumblepaw is an almost forgettable cat at times due to speaking little and even then in hushed tones. Though she says very little each word is carefully thought out and true to her heart. Any cat could find themselves relying on the molly to be a solid force beside them when she gives her word. Though don't tell her your secrets for she can barely hide her own. Though part of Moorclan the Apprentice finds it hard to feel any animosity toward their neighbors. She would never hesitate to defend her clan, but will not be the aggressor in confrontations.

***History***

There is not much to be said about the little Apprentices past as an orphan. Mumblepaw was found by Duskhare while out on an early morning hunt. The kit's eyes were still closed on that foggy morning as she lay in a clump of tall grass. This kept Duskhare from being able to pick up the scent of the kit's parents. So Mumblepaw was brought to the clan by Duskhare and left in the care of the Queens for Duskhare had never had any kits of her own. So Duskehare adopted Mumblepaw as a little sister instead. Mumblepaw has since lived in the clan learning from all the past Queens until a moon ago when she reluctantly joined the Apprentices.

Duskhare is the definition of wildcard molly as she finds herself unable to settle for more then a moments time. She is often misplaced as she dashes of toward every new scent, sounds, or whim. Though she may dash off whatever she finds holds her focus like honey clings to fur. As she must puzzle out every new thing to the fullest before she is content to leave. This can cause a bit of trouble for even things she should be wary of she can't help, but encroach on because of how bold she is. She strives every day to see every event as a blessing despite her dark name. It seems her youth is still upon her, but will it last.

***History***

Duskhare had a rather uneventful kit hood with a doting mother and proud father. Her mother was very young when she had Duskkit and a very small molly. So Duskkit was sadly the only kit of her mother's first litter which made her extremely protective of Duskkit. Even though the little kit grew up without any blood siblings she found comfort among the other kits and even the apprentices that would come spend time with her now and again. Though two moons after she became an apprentice disaster struck her small family, as her mother was lost to an Osprey during a hunt. Soon after her father passed from grief leaving the little apprentice an orphan. Duskpaw would not let it get her down and threw herself into learning and proving herself to her passed parents in every way she could. Including earning her name by catching a hare on her final hunting assessment and earning her the name Duskhare.
