When nothing came back, he looked at Juniper, opened his mouth to say something, then a rustling sound in the distance caught his attention. Without a second thought, he ran. He ran towards it, gripping his axe like his life depends on it. "Melanie!" He called out once again.

Juniper's attention snapped to the rustling just as Benji did, and she took off after him. She fumbled around for the dagger that she had strapped to her pocket and held it as she ran. "Melanie?" She called as she ran through the orchard. The bushes were less thick here than they were in the woods, though it was still hard to navigate in the dark. High in the branches some of the fruit gave off an ominous glow, although it wasn't enough for Juniper to see where she was going.

Terrified, Juniper ran until she found the nearest tree. "Hurry Melanie I'll give you a boost." She said at the base of the tree.
