from what she'd heard, aries assumed the group was returning to camp, and so she stood by the gate, waiting. marley approached first, and explained the situation. aries stopped abruptly. "not another word out of you. go get the hospital tent ready, and find cujo." she turned away from marley, who basically stomped off. once the rest of the group caught up, aries called out. "tripp, i want your report of what happened later. first, we bring him to the hospital tent. atlas, you can put him down now." the leader took a deep breath, calming her nerves. "okay. what's your name? talk as we walk."

marley felt like screaming. why was everyone always against her? aurora always made her feel like a child. i'm sixteen not six! nova, tripp, and the straggler caught up with them, and marley saw the the straggler was awake now. great. now i have an excuse to bash him in the head if he tries to escape. she turned and began walking towards the camp without a word to anyone. else, as she approached, she spotted aries looking angry by the gate. sighing, marley pulled the gate open alongside aries. "we found nova hanging out with a strangler, we don't know if he's bitten or not. everyone's being stupid about it too."

marley was shocked at aries response, and stalked away, heading towards the hospital.

Storm was really confused he was trying to talk but to him, it all seemed like everyone was yelling. The outsider wasn't helping even if he didn't have powers that could hurt on purpose, but on accident, they could. He was trying to take precautions but it was all too much for him, Storm was panicking. "It doesn't matter who he is or what he does or if he is friendly or not let just get back to camp and figure this out." Storm wasn't going to relax or like this person until Storm knows more about him. He wondered why the camp even cares about him anyways. What did he do to earn the camp's respect so easily? He felt more and more light-headed. Storm looked to see if there was anyone or anything they had to worry about behind them so he checked. Storm thought he saw someone he knew, he couldn't put his finger on it though. So he kept walking and listening to the others and then it clicked in his head. His brother that's who it was. Storm couldn't walk any further and then he wanted. The last thing he could mutter out was, "Brother... you're alive."

He internally chuckled when the boy got slapped, he kind of deserved it. Honestly he wasn't too sure how he felt about the whole ordeal but he wasn't a monster to leave someone unconscious in a store by themselves. He looked at Aries who was now at the entrance of the compound and he set the boy down infront of Aries. "Sure thing I'll make sure to do that." he said as he patted himself slightly and adjusted his shirt. "I'll be at the scouting tower, Someone needs to keep an eye on the fence." he mentioned before walking away.

He had heard Auroras thoughts but because they were so close it didn't really matter to answer her. He put his hand to his neck and chuckled "Yeah but we couldn't let you guys have all the fun." he answered. Atlas listened as storm as he went off on marley. Storm seemed odd lately, just really different than when they were talking earlier, it kind of threw him for a loop.

Once the group got back to the compound he could see that Aries was standing there, though she didn't look to ecstatic, maybe it was just cause there was no one in camp? He shrugged to himself before watching as she walked off with the stranger. He was awake now, and Atlas could definitely hear his thoughts. He really thought that nova betrayed him. He sighed and pushed the boys thoughts out of his own and walked towards the kitchen, his stomach was kind of growling.

Nova had caught a glimpse of the shock on Benji's face after slapped him. She didn't speak to him again and didn't make eye contact. Her arms were crossed over her chest as she walked. She looked to see that Aries was waiting, and now she felt like a little kid about to be scolded or get in trouble, of course she hid it very well. Though she was kind of happy when aries was so dismissive to Marley and then was okay with him being brought to the medic.
Though she was still upset and mad with Benji, she was technically responsible for him now. She made the idea of bringing him back to camp, and so it was only right she be the one to keep an eye on him. She followed them keeping quiet.

indentation Benji walked next to Aries with Nova trailing behind them. He kept his eyes to the ground as he spoke. "I'm Benji..I do have a power its illusions, I can make people see whatever I want by bending their realties. Its cool and be used in a harmful way, but I've only ever used it to hide. I had a camp a mile or so away from this compound, your scouts and fighters kept me safe from dead heads, and I wasn't spying or had any bad intentions. I don't have any weapons, I've only killed one dead head, and I don't have any bites." He admitted everythin, letting it all out as they walked toward the infirmary. He was feeling very nervous and self-aware. Benji's head was spinning, he needed to lay down soon. "Uhm how far away is the tent?" He asked holding head in pain.

aries listened to the boy's story patiently, noting that nova was following them. "don't worry, we're almost there." she glanced at the cord tied around benji's hands. "here, i think you'll be fine without those for now." she quickly untied him, shoving the cord in her back pocket. finally they reached the hospital, where marley was waiting, looking bored. "i couldn't find cujo, so good luck." aries bit her tongue, taking a deep breath and pinching the bridge of her nose. at marley's snarky comment, aries head snapped up. "out. now." the leader turned to benji, gesturing to a cot. "here, sit down. how can i help?"

marley couldn't find cujo, their medic, anywhere, and so she stood waiting in the hospital tent. soon aries, nova, and the stranger appeared. when aries pinched the bridge of her nose, marley rolled her eyes. "aww, is your 'super'-hearing giving you a headache? or are you just sooo annoyed by me?" aries' response sounded so stern and sudden that marley didn't hesitate in scuttling out, not making eye contact with nova.

ezra was settled in the lounge when he heard the commotion of his fellow groupmates. he hopped up to his feet, peaking out the window briefly to confirm that he wasn't going crazy, and then walked himself out of the building to meet them. although he was happy for the company after having been on his own for a time, he immediately sensed that something was... off. it was almost like a kick in the face, how he felt the weirdness from there. ezra bounded forward before he abruptly stopped. he recognized some faces of the group conversing with aries before he noticed what was different. there was a new face. his mouth opened in the shape of an 'o' at the realization. ezra continued to fidget in his spot as he watched aries, nova, and the stranger walk together, away from the group. he was curious, but he figured it wasn't really the appropriate time to shimmy his way into the story when he wasn't even apart of it to begin with. he stuck around for a while though, unsure what to really do with himself until he spotted marley coming out of the tent. now he could definitely sense something up with her. ezra couldn't help himself when he decided to jog up to her, "are... are you okay?" he asked, hesitating with his words. his intuition grew stronger when he got closer to her, and it in turn made him just a little bit more nervous. the wave almost hit him too hard, and he was quick to block the feeling out, but he knew that it wouldn't take long to break past his barrier.

junnie finished his snack, quick and greedily, as if he had been starved of food for so long because he truly felt he had been. food was harder to come by and he felt as though he wasn't the only one scavenging around for it. now, he may not have seen any human being in who knows how long, but he has heard some things here and there. sometimes, he believes himself to be hallucinating, so he swiftly ignores the voices, but other times, they sound too real. he's never seen anyone, but he's heard people - they must be people, right? survivors, just like him? he still ignores it, despite the one stray curious thought here and there. they have always sounded far away, and he never took the chance to follow the sound. this time, it was extra loud, a loud conversation between some people - maybe even an argument? he couldn't tell, but he knew that he shouldn't stick around. he was eager to leave the area, gathering up his bag and heading out the front, as it was the only way to go. the voices faded away the more his legs moved. he never bothered to check his surroundings after that, he just wanted to go home now.

indentation Lavendar was cleaning up the tent when Aries, Nova and a stranger came in. "Ope! Hello. Uh whats the story?" She asked in surprise as she turned around. "Marley was just in here. She asked for Cujo but he's currently out." Lave stated as she hurried around the tent grabbing supplies. She checked over the boy, she was looking for bites or wounds. Its how they handle new comers. "So no bites, but definitely head tramua, and a little bleeding on the back of his head, nothing too serious, and nothing we can't fix!" Lav went over the checklist to make sure didn't miss anything. "Since Cujo is out I need someone to stay here to keep an eye on him when every I have to step out. Any volunteers?" She asked looking at the two girls expectingly.

Nova kept quiet, listening to their conversation. She looked ahead at the medic tent and then looked to see marley there. She rolled her eyes at the girl what is her problem? she thought to herself as she watched the girl get told to leave. A smirk played on her lips as her eyes followed the girl out, this smug look. As quick as the expression came it went, and she was back to being focused on Benji and Aries. Though still mad at Benji she wanted to make sure he was okay. Soon enough the medic named Lavendar came up. She actually liked Lavendar and that was saying alot mostly cause nova is very selective on who she likes. Maybe its because Lavendar isn't obnoxious like percy, or rude like marley. Honestly there was only about 3 people that nova enjoyed being around and that was Lavendar, Aries and now benji.
She watched as the girl looked over benji, she knew he didn't have bites, but she couldn't tell everyone that mostly because they would ask if she checked anyways. A hidden smile on her face when the medic said it was something they could fix and he was going to be fine. Then she and aries was asked if one could stay and watch him. She hesitated glancing to benji before to the ground. "Fine..." she said coldly. "I will..." she finished as she kept her eyes to the ground.

aries listened to lavendar's assessment of benji, glad he was okay. "alright. benji, if you're up to it, i'd like to hear your story. you said you lived near our compound?" she sat down cross-legged on the cot next to the boy. "how did you come across our scouts today?" aries glanced at nova again, noticing how intent she was on caring for benji, although she also seemed to be cold towards him.

marley stalked over to the lounge, where she threw herself onto the old couch. she lay sprawled out, one arm over her eyes. god, why does aries hate me? one little fight and now we're basically enemies. we were scouts together! does that mean nothing to her?
