Kylie sighed, not looking up when she heard a motor in the distance.

[di-stri]

It took a few minutes for Nathan to get there, but get there he did. With a slight skid, he stopped near the corner of the street, and got off. He hesitated, then walked towards Kylie, looking at the ground beneath him.

Kylie kept looking at the ground, She sighed, then dragged her eyes up to meet Nathans.

[di-stri]

Nathan stopped in front of Kylie, unsure exactly what to say. "Uh, hi."

"Hi." Kylie said. She was glaring at him, the look so cold, so unmoving, violent.

Nathan looked at the ground lightly ran his finger down his throat, where there was now a slight redness from that man's knife.
"I'm sorry." he muttered.

"For what? For leaving me in the middle of the road? For ditching me when I'd done nothing wronG? Or maybe you keeping secrets from me. Wow Nathan, lots to choose from there; so, whatare you sorry for?"

[di-stri]

Nathan hesitantly lifted his head mostly, but not all the way so it was straight. "Well, yeah, there's those. But then theres the stuff I haven't done yet."

"What do you mean? You gonna break up with me? Kill me?"

Nathan smiled slighting, "Intriguing ideas, but no."
