Uaill Aislingean (The Pride of Dreams) lives on the edge of a savannah where the underground lake begins to seep up and the ground turns sponges and wet—a marsh, to be precise. A large hollow surrounded by large stones marked with ancestral runes serves as their resting place, the ground there is dry and soft. Near the entrance to the hollow are heated vents, perfect for drying off one’s paws and fur provided one does not breathe too much of air they blow; those who do become disoriented and some have even sickened temporarily from it. The uaill splits sealg into two classes, the boglach sealg (marsh hunters) and the tioram sealg (dry hunters). As their name suggests, the boglach sealg hunt in the marsh, chosen for shorter fur, patience, and lean builds quick to catch the iasg (Fish) and other watery game. The tioram sealg hunt in the savannah, relying on their strength and stamina to bring down larger game such as the ailbhean (elephant) and fiadbhiast (wildebeest). They range far, though no farther than Loidhne Toll Uisge (Watering Hole Line) for past that is certain death where the itheadair bàis (death eater) roam. The boglach sealg have no border to avoid, however they can only travel as far as they are able to carry their prey home.
