She squeaked excitedly, "Yes!" She scampered towards Kai and jumped onto him.

Kai was large enough that the young Pup wouldn’t be able to knock him over on just her weight alone, but he allowed himself to tilt back just a bit as she pounded, therefore allowing her to knock him over onto the ground. It had been...forever since he’d played like this. Even Mano didn’t want to play simple games. With him, it always bad to be big, complicated games that involved WAY too much thinking.

The light brown wolf laughed, to be playing like this. A genuine, carefree laugh of joy, and batted lightly at his new little sister's muzzle, careful not to put much strength behind it. The last thing he wanted was to hurt her.

She smiled and said excitedly, "I tackled u!! I'm the queen of the world!" She giggled as Kai tapped her muzzle. She jumped off and allowed her brother to get up. She saw him run towards her and she started scampering away.

As soon as he was up again, Kai started at a jogging pace towards his little sister, though kept his steps light. He didn’t want to make too much noise and disturb the strange male who was with his father, doing something odd looking he’d seen his dad do a couple times. His jogging pace wasn’t fast, but nor was it exactly slow, and he suspected the young Pup may see it as him running at full speed.

"I’m gonna catch you!" He teased, laughter in his voice and in his eyes.

She yelped as quietly as possible so not to disturb her new father up here. She felt a little bump on her shoulder and she pretended to trip and fall and she looked playfully up at her brother. "AWWW, u got me," She said with eager tone.

Kai chuckled quietly. "C'mon, let’s play more outside so we don’t disturb our parents, okay?" The last thing they needed today was to be barked at by his strict father for being too loud or messing up the neatly-piled mossy nests. That had happened one too many times to him and Mano.

Willow scampered after Kai and saw Lolen and he looked at her with a stern expression. She whined a little and scampered to Kai and she wiggled her tail and launched herself at Kai.

Kai glanced back as he saw his father fix them with a stern look in his ice blue eyes. Or was it confusion at the sudden new addition to their little family? Grace would explain Willow's presence once she had the chance, he was sure. She was pretty good about keeping wolves in the loop on what was happening at any given point. So the slender, tawny brown wolf followed Willow outside, letting her lead the way.

"It’s okay. He’s not so scary once you get to know him. Mum will explain things to him and then everything will be okay," He promised with a smile, just as Willow leapt. He tried to dodge, but failed, moving just a second too late.

She got on him and then he began to move and she squeaked and yelped in joy.

At first, Kai thought he might have hurt her, then he registered the voice tone of the little one. Joy. She was laughing. For whatever reason, that warmed his heart. He could see why their mother had taken so quickly to the Pup. She was just bursting with happy energy!

"Got a lot of adrenaline there, huh?" He asked with a quiet laugh. He rolled over onto his side so he could get up without squishing her, then carefully picked her up by the scruff. "Gotcha!"
