Cassia quickly struck one of the matches against the side of its box, watching an orange flame jump up and dance around. Winking to where she assumed the Capitol cameras were, she tossed the match into the trees, the flames eating up the gasoline covered foliage and quickly turning into an inferno. There was a wall of heat as the fire rapidly tok over the trees, and Cassia held her sword and knives readily. "They'll all run for it soon. We'll be ready when they do."

Hearing the word smoke, she looked up into the sky. She didn't see it, but she knew that it was somewhat nearby. Instinctively, she climbed up the tree as fast as she could until she could see more. Surrounding the Cornucopia, she could see the flames spreading towards the forest. Luckily, they were at the Creek, so the flames would most likely avoid them. Letting out a grunt, she landed back down on the ground. "We should be safe from the flames, its too far away. My guess is either the Gamemakers or the other tributes lit it on fire."

Lorin took off through the trees, running as fast as possible. The thick underbrush hindered his sprint, but eventually he burst out of the undergrowth through the trees, just in time to find the field and three hungry careers. Weaponless, he started to run again, but this time straight for the cornucopia to find supplies. He tried to run as fast as possible to find anything he could use.

Juniper ran towards the nearest exit, not sure where to go as the fire started to close in around them. A gap in the forest loomed ahead, and the girl dashed for it, breathing heavily as she found herself in the open field. Suddenly spotting the careers in wait, Juniper took off running with Melanie parallel to the firey woods. Hopeful Benji and Raven would be right behind her and not leave her and Melanie to die at the career's hands.

He looked around the arena for any signs of Junpier, Melanie, or Raven. Ben saw them but also careers. They didn't notice him quite yet. Benji ducked down and clung to his axe waiting for them to make a move. Not my team jerks. He thought to himself as he watched the scene.
