Kyras eyes widened once she heard another sound and she looked over at Avion, then spotted his spear that he had missed. She quickly snatched it, breathing heavily. Kyra was debating whether to make a run for it or not. Considering her odds, she picked the choice to run. She bolted for the creek, knowing it would provide some more camouflage and advantages.

Cassia smirked as she landed a blow, but then jumped as she saw Kyra countering. Her knife sliced against Cassia's shoulder and she winced. She didn't need an injury as soon as the games began. She paid no attention to Avion as he approached, but noticed that he threw a spear. Preparing to swing at Kyra again, the girl took the spear and ran. "Thanks a lot." She huffed to Avion. "She's hurt though. She won't last long even if we do go after her."

Kyra let out a sharp cry of pain and stumbled, falling onto the ground with a thud. Letting out a gasp for air, she looked at her bleeding side, wincing and trying to calm herself down. It felt like the world was spinning at millions of miles per hour, making her very dizzy. Groaning, she tore off a piece of her clothing with her knife and wrapped it around the wound, trying to calm herself down. She stared off into the sky, cursing the Capitol under her breath as she laid there. Avion was right, she should've made alliances, but she feared people...People could be untrustworthy most of the time...She was usually a lone bird...However, she didn't like being alone, and especially not now.

How bad is it?" He asked looking between Juniper and Melanie. "We need to leave. We can't stay here." He says standing up slowly as the cannon sounds. "We have to go. NOW!"

Juniper gasped as she noticed Benji was hurt. She kneeled down and inspected the wound. She winced she she got blood on her hands. "I might be able to find supplies to clean it if I can make it back to the cornucopia." Juniper murmured, thinking out loud. "There might not be as many people there..." She quickly stood up and grabbed one of the axes, as well as the knife she already had. She was good with fighting with weapons in close proximity, but she never fought with high circumstances before, or ever had to take someone's life.

Juniper glanced at Melanie and sighed. Daniel Hoover? He was the tribute from 1. She shivered as she remembered how ruthless he looked in training, there was no way she could go up against him. Something about the way Melanie pleaded made Juniper's heart melt. "Alright, I won't risk it. But there has to be another way to clean the wound." It suddenly occurred to her that stopping the bleeding was more of an imminent issue than cleaning, so Juniper took her dagger and carefully sliced off a piece of her sleeve. She pressed the fabric against Benji's arm and secured it with the elastic she used to pull her hair up. "Melanie can you find me some lambs ear?" she asked, still pressing down on the wound. Being from 7 she knew some forest remedies, and she remembered that sometimes when lumberjacks were hurt on the job they would use plants like lambs ear to help disinfect the wound. Juniper knew the fix wasn't perfect, but it would work for what they had.

Carefully, she walked closer very slowly and grabbed the plants, not wanting to disturb them. She ran back towards her with a smile, giving her the Lamb's Ear.
