Eaglepaw smiled faintly at the pups, trying not to show his sadness for their mother. When they find out... what will they say? Who will be their caretaker? Shaking himself, the apprentice tried to rid himself of those thoughts. He would mourn later, with the rest of the pack, but celebrate now with the new dog Alabaster, and thank the stars above that the pups were alright.

“Are either of you hungry?” Daisypup asked her younger siblings. She had thought they might be a bit hungry. She was glad Nightpaw took care of them while she buried Fallensnow. He was such a good friend. He’d definitely be a great warrior for the pack.

"They both had mice earlier so I don't know if they're hungry." He watched as Alabaster found the fresh kill pile and nodded his head when the white canine looked over as if asking for permission.

He knew he was hungry, he hadn't eaten anything in a while. He looked to see if they stored their food somewhere and found a huge pile of prey, wagging his tail he approached it but didn't know if he could just take something so he looked over at the group and saw Nightpaw give him a nod. He picked a rabbit and found a spot nearby to eat it.

Daisypup cleaned her paws off in some nearby water. There had been dirt on them from digging earlier. She still wasn’t sure how to tell them about their mother but they seemed so happy now. She couldn’t ruin their happiness. She then went and got herself a small rabbit. She wasn’t that hungry. Nervous about how to explain Fallensnow’s death to her own pups, but that was about it.

Oreopup shook her head. "Nah, I'm not hungry. Just have a little energy, is all. So. What did you guys do? Did you fight some bad guys out there? Catch a monster? Or OOOOh, did you see that bear? When I'm a warrior, I want to be the one to take it down." The pup made a mock heroic stance, one paw lifted with her eyes closed as if proud of her 'terrific' deed. Opening one eye, Oreopup said, "But you guys better not catch it before me! That would be so unfair. I want to be the one! But I guess if you guys do catch it, I want a taste." Oreopup tried to imagine what bear would taste like. Probably like super awesome rabbit, she thought, grinning.

“Nightpaw is right. I bet a patrol of good warriors wouldn’t have an easy time of killing a bear. I bet they could kill it, but not come back without injuries.” Daisypup said. No wonder Oreopup had energy. She thought she could take down a bear. Still to young too hunt, and yet she has an overactive imagination. “But I’m sure when your an apprentice you’ll definitely catch other smaller things.” She added.
