Princess Hurricane/Female/7/LightningWing/Hetrosexual/LightningWing Territory/Tags: Prince Firefly
"Of course she will," Hurricane said with a soft sigh. "And I'm sure the other Queens will do the same if there are dragons from the other tribes joining us there as well." She banked when her brother did and tilted her head slightly. "I remember seeing them on a map once but I've never been there myself."

Roadrunner/Male/10/SunWing/Bisexual/SunWing Territory/Tags: Oasis
"I believe we're going the right way. I've been there a couple of times and recognize some of the landmarks," Roadrunner affirmed with a small nod. "I have a pretty good memory so I think I can get us there without getting too lost," he added with a soft chuckle.

Birch/Male/8/IvyWing/Hetrosexual/IvyWing Village/Tags: Feahter
Birch's flight faltered slightly when Feather called out to him. He tilted his head slightly when the older dragon mentioned knowing what the voices at the festival were. "Really? What then?" he asked.

Aquamarine/Female/5/CaveWing/ShellWing/CaveWing Caves/Tags: Echo, Chrysocolla
Aqua tilted her head slightly as she listened to the older CaveWings talk. "Come on let's go," she said as she darted toward the cave entrance. "Before anyone really does try and stop us from fulfilling our task of being heroes."

Ash | Female | Mist/Ivy Hybrid-Mistwing Champion | 14 | Pan | Heading to Claws Divide | Tags; Open | Character Sheet: Pg. 4

Ash only flew for a few minutes before Hawk broke the silence. He was hesitant and look fairly young, he must have been quite the flyer if he was selected for the journey. "I was only given an overview of the mission because of the time restraint and I'm still a bit confused. I didn't go to the Festival yesterday and I wasn't entirely sure what they meant by voices." He sounded nervous and Ash assumed it was either because of her rank or her heritage. She would give him the benefit of the doubt and take it as being nervous around a diplomat. This is understandable, as all Mistwing diplomats were trained in interrogation techniques and knew how to get into someone's head. "It's alright, I'm glad you asked. Always best to have all available information." She reassured him. "The Festival was interrupted about half-way through by what seemed to be a mass mental projection of a chorus of voices. They only said one thing before they disappeared but it was concerning enough to end the Festival early. They said 'Send your strongest, they won't win.'" She paused to let Hawk absorb the information before continuing.

"Last night I had a dream, the long-dead spirit of Violet appeared to me and told me that she knew what the threat was and to meet up with a clawful of dragons from the other tribes at Claws Divide for more information. She said it was an old danger but would say nothing more." She paused again as she could tell Hawk had a question. "But if she's dead, how did she speak to you?" Ash thought that was a very good question and would have loved to be able to answer it. But all she could say for now was "I'm not sure, it might not have even been Violet. It could have been a trap by whoever sent the voices to trick us into going there to die one by one. That's why you're here. You're going to tail me from a distance once we get close and watch from nearby, if I die you'll go back to the Queen and report. If it's not a trick I'll come find you and give you any information I have to take back to the Queen. If I need to go into an area you can't follow me to, or if you lose sight of me, you'll wait nearby for half a day and then return to the Queen and tell her I am MIA. She'll decide what to do from there. If you do not return within 4 days she will assume we have both died and take the appropriate actions." Ash looked over at the scout "Do you have any questions?" Hawk looked deep in thought for a moment and then shook his head. "No, that was very clear. Thank you." She smiled at him, good he could pay attention and only asked questions to clarify the mission. He would make a good scout. "It's not a problem." After a few minutes of flying in anxious silence, where Ash knew the rookie would be overthinking things and trying to impress her she spoke up. "Well, we're going to be flying for a while. Would you like to play 20 questions?"

Feather | Male | Ivy/Mist Hybrid-Ivywing Champion | 14 | Bi | Heading to Claws Divide | Tags; Birch | Character Sheet: Pg. 4

Feather had to flare out his wings and flap frantically as to not crash into the branch he was trying to land on. In a hurried tone, he called out "Some of the stuff I found in the books looked promising, and then I had a strange dream that confirmed it. I gotta grab some stuff from my hut, I'll explain on the way." With that, he took off again. Not checking to see if Birch was following him he sped back to his hut. As soon as he landed he started grabbing things; food, ink, a couple of water pouches, and his fan-blades. He wanted to hurry and not be late but he didn't want to forget anything. Taking a deep breath he thought it through. He hated when characters overpacked and then never brought it up like it wouldn't be a huge hindrance to carry around half of your belongings. But it was even worse when they just took off without packing anything and then just pull whatever they need out of nowhere as if you could just find a clean source of water anywhere. He didn't know how long he'd be gone but he also didn't know what he'd encounter en route. Better to be safe than sorry was his typical motto so he grabbed some extra food. He knew that Claws Divide was relatively close to a forest so he hoped he could get some more food there, just in case. He slipped his fan-blade onto his tail so it would take up less room in his pack and slid some bandages in their place. Dragons got hurt a lot in adventure stories so he wanted to be well prepared. He figured that should be enough and turned to leave.

Chrysocolla | Female | Cavewing Champion | 12 | Asexual/Panromantic | Heading to Claws Divide | Tags; Echo, Aquamarine | Character Sheet: Pg. 14

Chrysocolla watched Echo relax, if only slightly, at her words and nodded back. "You are right, we should be going, time marches on no matter what should happen and it is up to us to keep its pace." She followed Aquamarine with haste. As soon as she was under the open sky she spread her wings and took off. The light of the sun barely breaching the horizon in the distance began to cast a warm glow over the land and its rays reflected off hers and her companions' ember scales. They would not blend in like stars to the night for much longer, but Chrysocolla found she did not much mind the coming sun though its usual brilliance did nothing to help her already poor eyesight. She breathed in the dewdrop clouds that settled low on the plains beyond the caves, reveling in the freshness on the air. The air was too thin for Cavewings at the usual altitude dragons flew, and it was much more difficult to see the ground from up so high so she chose to fly lower to the earth.

After a few powerful wingbeats in the right direction she began humming softly, though not loud enough to be heard over the wind. She hummed low, enjoying the small vibrations that reverberated throughout her lungs. It was similar to that of a cat's purr and was very calming. Perhaps she would teach this to Echo if the opportunity arrived. To pass the time she considered her appointed place in this calamity of heroes. A healer, oddly enough, and though it was not her profession she had a decent amount of knowledge in the subject from the time spent with those who practiced it after her... incident. She didn't remember much about the cave-in itself but the aftermath stuck with her. She remembers clearly waking up first only to find out that her brother never would. That was also when she discovered her right eye could no longer shed tears. She stayed with the healers for a few years after that on her parents' insistence and the healers were kind enough to occupy her thoughts with herbs and medicine. She wondered if different dragons reacted differently to the herbs she knew and resolved to ask the others when they arrived. She hoped to reach their destination early so she could look for herbs around.

Aster | Male | Meadowwing Champion | 10 | Bi | Heading to Claws Divide | Tags; Open | Character Sheet: Pg. 14

Aster arrived at the Claws Divide around midday. Seeing as he was one of the first to arrive he took a moment to eat one of the legs he had brought with him. Then he took off towards the nearby forest, hoping to catch some food before everyone else got there. He set up his traps, two in the thick of the forest and two closer to the edge. The two in the forest were simple net traps, easy to hide under the leaves, and decently successful when catching prey. He left a small chunk of meat at the center of each, not the best idea for long term but it would speed up the process and carnivores tended to be bigger and meatier anyway. The two near the edge were rope snares, almost as likely to capture but less difficult to break out of. He put chunks of meat at the center for both of those as well. Aster set off for the other part of the woods, away from the traps, and got to hunting. He was much better at trapping than hunting but he could still hunt well enough. After an hour he had caught two boars and decided to take them back to the meetup location. He would check the traps later as it was very unlikely they had snared anything yet and going to check them now would deter any potential prey from wandering into them.
