OakClan(Hope no one minds, but since Beestar is out of camp now and we're about to skip in a few anyway, I'm just going to skip Artemis, Splash, and Dapple back to camp and send Splash over to Ivypaw. Since we can't rp Beestar meeting Artemis now anyway, we can maybe just pretend Dapple and Artemis are waiting at camp for her to come back?)
"You look so bored," Splashfeather observed humorously, coming to stand over Ivypaw. She was glad to see the medicine cat apprentice up and about though. "You look better though," she added, sitting down beside her. "Are you feeling any better?"
"Well..." Riverstripe hesitated for a moment, casting a glance at the leader's den before back down at his paws. "I guess, I just wanted to get a she-cat's point of view, but...How do you know if a she-cat is interested you?" Part of him knew it was a silly question, as she-cats were different and would likely act in different ways. But still, he felt that perhaps Elmshade could offer some clarity to the situation, being a she-cat herself. "Or if she just sees you as another friend or clanmate, or doesn't like you at all?"
Sunflare scented it almost as soon as Beestar had said it. He frowned at the she-cat's order, but didn't argue with it. He knew she was his leader, but she was still a she-cat, and a queen at that--his natural instinct as a tom was to protect she-cats, especially if they were pregnant or nursing. Furthermore, even though it had been over two moons since she'd lost a life giving birth, he wasn't sure if she had fully recovered. Still, he stayed behind her, although ready to jump in front at a moment's notice if need be.
EagleClan(Also, Mistflower posted for Acornspots a bit back:)
Mistflower sighed as she had curled up into her nest, glancing over at Acornspots once. They talked occassionally but she wasn't as close as she once was to the warrior compared to how she was with her brother. "Are you and Russetswirl alright? He seemed upset you wouldn't talk to him when you got back into camp," she asked slowly and sighs. "And can I give you some advice?"
Littleflower nodded and padded after Oatleaf, at a relaxed enough pace so as to leave Swiftbadger behind. Rather she walked alongside him, close enough for him to lean on her if he wanted but allowing enough space for him to walk on his own. "Do you usually come out here by yourself to fetch your own bedding?" Littleflower asked Oatleaf curiously. The elder seemed to have a clear route in mind to suggest that she came this way often enough, and Littleflower could only hope that she typically went with another clanmate. She knew that Oatleaf wasn't helpless, by any means, but times had been especially dangerous the past few moons, and how much more so at night and during leaf-bare. Even Littleflower wouldn't want to leave camp by herself as of late. "You know you can always ask one of us to go with you," she added.
"Of course," Southstar purred, glad that he was able to reassure his friend. He felt he owed it to him--not only because he was a loyal friend, warrior, mentor, and mate, but because of what had happened two moons ago. No matter how hard he tried to forget it, to rationalize it, the guilt ate away at him, day in and day out. And now that Foxcloud was so near to kitting, it filled Southstar with anxiety.
StarClan, please let them look like Deertail, or at least like Foxcloud. Just not like me. It was bad enough that they'd be born early--or at least, too early to be Deertail's--but if they resembled their true father, Southstar didn't know what would happen. Forcing his fur to lie flat, he decided it'd do him good to get out of camp for a bit and get some fresh air. With that, he silently slipped out of camp.
