That class, Biology, would be his last class of the day so it gave him a sense of relief knowing that he was done for the day. Time has just seemed to fly, though that's to be expected when you're having fun. Believe it or not, Biology, or anything science really, piqued Liam's interest and gave him a sense of enjoyment learning new things in the subject. Slinging his bookbag over his shoulder, Liam made his way out of the hall and pulled out his phone. No messages, no notifications. Typical.
You see, Liam was by no means the type of guy to make friends. Sure he'd meet all sorts of people during his nightly outings but they never lasted; or more like, he never let them. There was just something so...unappealing about longterm friendships. Its all way to much effort for what it was worth, is what Liam says and has lived by for the majority of his life. Pocketing his phone once again, Liam instinctually turned and began to walk to the tavern on campus.
Liam went to the tavern everyday after classes, always looking over notes or typing essays in the relaxed setting. It was much better than being stuck in a shared bedroom with someone you barely knew. Getting to know his roommate was something that had never even crossed Liam's mind. The only words he said to him was 'Please don't touch my stuff' and 'Keep it clean in here' and that was it. Nothing more, nothing less. Walking into the the Tavern, Liam took a seat at a table near the windows and pulled out his laptop. One of his professors had assigned an essay earlier in the day, setting the deadline as around a week from now. Plenty of time to work on it, yes, but why not just get it out of the way?
After just a moment of typing, a waitress came along to ask for his order; to which he responded, "Strawberry milk, please." Ah yes, that was his usual. Liam has been a regular since his first year attending Belgrave, so most of the staff were beyond weird looks and just jotted down his order. Liam continued to work away on his computer, only stopping to talk small savory sips of his delectable beverage and an occasional glance at the people who came in. Letting out a content sigh, he pulled on his headphones. But rather than turning on music or some sort of noise, he left them silent. There was something satisfying about listening to muffled voices in the background. Plus, it kept most people from bothering him.
