Tanager looked at all the new dragons with excitement. There was the Skywing, Owl, she would be interesting to get to know. Then the Nightwing, Caelum, he had been quiet so far. There was a Seawing, Monsoon and of course Cactus the Sandwing. It would be interesting to get to know all of them. Especially, Owl and Cactus. He looked towards Owl as she suggested looking together. He nodded enthusiastically, that would be lots of fun!

Monsoon agreed and just as they were about to set off, a Rainwing burst in. She wanted to know where Truthseeker was? Who was that? Wait, maybe the Rainwing was Mamba! One of the Rainwings who were staying with him! She must be! He walked towards her with a confident smile. "You must be Mamba! I'm Tanager and we will be roomates!" He winked at her. "I look forward to getting to know you."

Cactus waited while the dragons introduced each other.
Once done she took a step forward and said
"Why don't we chat at the prey centre instead of a hallway?" Then adding, "We can look for Truthseeker there"

"Well then, shouldn't we go now?" He asked as Mamba left the group. He started to step down the hall, trying to get the others to follow.

" Well, i'm afraid we won't have a lot of time to do so. I went and changed my Winglet, I swear if I didn't someone would have died." She replied to Tanager, pushing him away slightly. "If she just arrived then she might haven't put her stuff in. I'll go check her room, but if she's not there, i'll come to the prey centre." Mamba turned and trotted out of the hall.

caelum stepped away from the growing group of dragons. he didnt do very well with large groups, even though he kind of wanted to stay and get used to everyone. "i think im gonna go back to my dorm and finish unpacking," he announced. then, he turned around to retrace his steps back to his dorm.

which one was it again? he thought to himself. he'd already forgotten where his dorm was. he peeked into a random one, hoping to spot his suitcase on the ground, but there was another dragon in there, a mudwing. she was sitting on one of the beds with an annoyed expression on her face.

she followed monsoon down the hall. "i think its this way," she said, pointing down another hall.

Tanager watched Cactus step forward and explain that they could talk at the prey center. That was probably best, he could feel his stomach rumbling like crazy! And Mamba could search for this Truthseeker dragon. Tanager hoped Truthseeker was a girl, the more girls the better! They got ready to go when Mamba looked him in the eye and told him that she had changed the room assignment. She then was a bit rude about the assignment. Even though she had never met him. Did she judge him just by his name or Tribe? Or was it Caribou or Freesia? He doubted it was Freesia's fault but Caribou made sense. He watched her trot out of the hall with unease.

Monsoon turned their attention back to the current task and Freesia followed him. Tanager was glad that they could get going, he was starving and the prey center was a great place to get to know all these new dragons. Caelum left randomly, which disappointed Tanager, but at least he could get to know the girls and Monsoon. He followed Freesia, Monsoon, and Cactus with a bounce in his step as he hummed a quiet tune to himself. So far his day had been pretty great.


Princess Snipe

Snipe looked around when she heard footsteps getting close to the dorm. They stopped and a Nightwing was standing at the door. He looked confused for a second and then saw her. She didn't get up and looked at him with judging eyes. "Well don't just stand there all toad-brained! What do you want? Are one of those peasants who is supposed to be living with me?" She gave him a unimpressed sniff and flicked her tail slightly.

Landing clumsily near the school's entrance, Mohave entered with as much dignity as he could muster, hoping nobody had seen him trip over himself during descent. Taking a few moments to study the large paper showcasing room assignments, he grew a bit giddy seeing this Mamba and Truthseeker he was to be living with. He'd never met a Nightwing or Rainwing, and here he was, rooming with some.
Hastily, the tattooed Sandwing searched for their room, grateful to find it so quickly. Letting out a small sigh of disappointment to find it empty, he set to work placing his things on a small ledge near the bed closest to the room's entrance.

Owl

Owl followed along with the rest of the group, occasionally twitching her wings back to not
accidentally bump someone. Pushing slightly ahead of the group she settled next to Freesia,
matching her pace. "Hey, I'm Owl. You must be Freesia." Owl, twitched her wings uncomfortably,
she hated being the one to initiate conversations but was trying to get into the habit of being
more extroverted. "So, why did you come to Moonstone?"

Caribou

Caribou stared at the Nightwing, trying to decide a proper way to handle the situation.
Should I end the conversation? she clearly wants the leave. Should I make another comment? No
I already pushed it with Mamba. I don't want to get kicked out of the school. Fine.
Talk to you later moon-eyes. Caribou scowled, turning to walk further into the library.

Cactus followed the group of dragons. Wow im actually making friends. She thought. She enjoyed this group. It had lots of different personalities from all kinds of dragons. Tanager was the kind of dragon that enjoyed life. Owl and Monsoon were quiet but nice to talk to. Freesia was kind. She flicked her tail thoughtfully. I wonder if there are any other Sandwings joining?

"um." caelum looked at the mudwing, trying to remember if he was supposed to be rooming with one or not. "wait, whats your name again?" he said, wondering if she would get mad at him for asking. from the way she had addressed him, it was clear that she thought he was beneath her. asking who she was would just make her angrier, but caelum did it anyway.
