In the beginning there were four clans which as time has passed the names had slowly been forgotten. Those clans lived in a forest where there was one warrior named Flashstorm which been sent into exile, the reason behind his exile was awful for the clans. Prey soon began disappearing and leaving the clan territories as there were Twolegs taking over the territories. When the four clans agreed to leave they ran into Flashstorm once more, who was more power hungry than before to become a leader of a clan and had built a rogue following during his absence. Flashstorm quickly became a dictator over the clans, some beginning to perish sooner than others. Two cats raised up though Crowfall and Spiderstrike, together they took on Flashstorm with the help of the remaining cats. The two cats hand't always agreed with one another nor saw eye to eye but knew Flashstorm would just continue to lead them to their death if he wasn't stopped. Not long after the downfall of Flashstorm, the remaining clan cats found a place to call home and split into two separate clans; one lead by Crowfall and the other lead by Spiderstrike. The rogues that had been loyal to Flashstorm leaving the clans for now but have never forgetting about Flashstorm's demise and still ponder in and out of the clan territories. Over time Crowclan cats have been known for being calm and less hostile while Spiderclan cats have been nearly the opposite being cold and calculated over their actions. Many moons and many seasons have gone by since then and have slowly began changing both their temperaments, though both clans hope never to live through a day where another dictator like Flashstorm again.

001. first as always all of chicken smoothie's and tess's rules apply to this role-play. don't be ashamed if you need to brush up on them.
002. all forums and ooc go on the discussion thread.
003. only post on the role-play thread once your characters have been accepted and once the role-play itself has started
004. no one-liners. write at least a minimum of two sentences per post.
005. you may have as many characters as you wish, including only one high rank per user to be fair. ** unless the character is strictly picked by the leader due to circumstances in the roleplay which only then you may have an additional high rank**
006. if you have more than one character you need to have at least one in the other clan or have an outsider so that no one has cats in just one clan.
007. if you have more than one character the other will have to be the opposing gender
008. no cat can have a prefix of the named clans or already used ones unless said cat has joined Starclan. (Original clan names that were mentioned in the intro is fine)
009. post at least once a week. unsaid inactivity for a week will result in a pm concerning your inactivity. if, it is not replied to in two days your character(s) will be removed. high ranks especially must be active.
010. no being your own crush/mate/mentor.
011. lgbtq+ characters are allowed and welcomed.
012. please respect all clan traits, you'll find them in the information section.
013. drama is welcomed and encouraged !! but anything that would affect the role-play on a large scale should be ran by the owners.
014. please fade to black for mating/kitting scenes
015. ask permission before making someone's sibling/family member before jumping in to make them.

« Clan Territories »
Both territories are a large expanse of trees, with a river running through both of them to separate the two clans. Northbound from the river is a large oak tree, where gatherings take place. Twolegs are a rare occurrence, as those places are far from the clans, and do not border any of the territory.

Spiderclan cats have a portion of rocky terrain in their side of the forest, which they refer to as "hill of rocks", or similar names. Prey is not common here. The camp is in the forest, in a thinner part of it, the walls made of bramble and other similar materials. The leader's den is a an old fox den, which they share with the deputy. The Elder's den is closest to the leader den, and is a hollow dead tree, large enough to fit a small group of cats. The clearing once had many bushes and logs, but after some work, the ground in the camp is now mainly sand/dirt and twigs. The warriors den is found within a clump of bushes, protected by the branches, with a sandy floor. The apprentice den follows closely. The Queen's den is a clump of rocks, with a large boulder making most of it, as it's eroded plenty over a long period of time, carving out the perfect den. The medicine cat den is a large hollowed out dead log, with old crevices, holes, and such acting as storage areas.

Crowclan cats have trenches lined with moss for the warriors, which they must jump or crawl out of out. They were dug out long ago. The apprentice den is similar to the warriors, but shallower. The leader and deputy's den is on a small hill, underneath an old tree. The Queen's den is near to the leader's and, like the warriors den found in Spiderclan, it is in a clump of bushes, padded with moss and feathers. The Elder's are the Queen's neighbors and also are a clump of bushes. The medicine cat den is under a small rocky enclave, with not much to it, aside from bramble and vines covering part of the entrance, and shelves/storage units gouged into the weathered down stone.

No one owns territory near high rocks. The moon stone is located there in a cave, with many ponds inside it, as it sometimes floods during newleaf. Meaning that cats must usually swim through on their way.

« Clan Prey/Predators »
Both clans share similar prey. Squirrels, voles, rabbit, mice, birds, even fish if one chooses to hunt at the river. Chipmunks are also a common sight. Threats and predators include wolves, large birds of prey, and badgers. Note the pack of wolves that lives off near high stones, and a den of badgers that inhabits a place not too near the gathering place.


« Clan traits »
Crowclan cats tend to be laid-back and more calm; less hostile than Spiderclan cats.
Spiderclan cats tend to be more cold, calculated, and ruthless. Of course, personalities have changed over time, and they may be more varied now.

Both clans have the deputy sleep with the leader in a shared den.

Rowanstar was still adjusting to no longer having Tornstar sleeping in the den with him but it was nice to have him sharing with long time friend Featherhaze and new deputy. It was only a few dawns since becoming leader, he was a bit unsure of himself still though it seemed that his deputy at least had his back which was a nice thing. With becoming leader, he also felt odd a bit with not being sure on how to go on with his day, it use to be with him making his patrols and being on them and he hadn't been on one since becoming leader. He also felt bad that his apprentice Sunnypaw had to been working with another warrior between grieving for Tornstar and having to go to the moonpool but today he was going to take him out for training by himself.
It was barely dawn as he was waking up, it was the first night he had been able to wake up without feeling exhausted. He began cleaning his fur happily until he finished before nudging at Featherhaze for the other to wake his deputy as he wanted to discuss the patrols for today. He even felt like he wanted to go and lead a patrol later with his energy returning between his grief and him catching up on his loss of sleep.

Dustripple didn't typically wake up right at dawn like some of the other warriors as he didn't have an apprentice so he didn't see the harm in sleeping in. He would be fine though if he was woken up for him to join a patrol, though sometimes he just liked being in the warrior den even if he wasn't sleeping as it was a calming place. Which is why he was fighting falling back asleep as he laid contently in his nest beside his sister Fallingfrost.

Berrypaw was barely awake as she felt the bit of sunlight coming through into the apprentice den despite the clouds. She was ready to start for the day though she was a bit hungry compared to most mornings which is why she was hoping for her mentor to allow her to eat before they left for the day. Sometimes her mentor Amberwing would be understanding, she got along with her pretty well and was perhaps the only cat other than Sunnypaw she talked to regularly.

Flowersong was ready to start the day though she was eager to jut carry on with her apprentices training she wasn't sure if they would be needed for a patrol first but she was sure Mistheart would be telling them orders soon enough. She had accidentally nudged Lightningjaw once as she had gotten up from her nest before feeling her ears go warm, "Sorry!" After apologizing she quickly left the warrior den to see who all was already in the clearing.

Stonepaw was a bit on the odd side, he was always ready for a battle whether from the clan they shared the forest with or one of the predators that also lived in the forest. He was basically always ready for danger, he had no reasoning on why he was always ready besides just the fact one minute you are living and the next you could easily be joining starclan so why not take some risks. He was somewhat secretive though about him being gay as he didn't want to share that with anyone yet, he also didn't see a reason on why to share that since it didn't concern anyone else. The tom had left the apprentice den and was quietly waiting out in the clearing for his mentor while he cleaned his pelt to waste time.

River had managed to wake up before dawn had hit and decided to use her time well, not saying the others in her group didn't use their time well but it felt that sometimes all they did was sleep all day. She didn't care though to be hunting by herself as she was hoping she would get a catch for both her sister and herself that the two could share. Sometimes she worried about getting to close to the clan territories but with it being dawn she wasn't too worried that they were even awake yet.

BeetleLeg awaited in the clearing, scratching idly in the dirt with a single claw. In the back of his mind he hoped some apprentices would show so he could mess around a bit with them. Maybe wrestle! He was a small tom, so wrestling with some little cats wouldn't be much of a danger for either of them.
Upon seeing Flowersong emerge, he quickly stood, tripping over himself a bit but managing to save it somehow. His tail ticked from side to side like a timekeep. "Good morning!"
