i really like the mars volta's lyrics in general. i'm not sure if it's an iconic lyric but every time i listen to roulette dares i really think about the line "exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed." no idea what that means but i do be feeling it. and that's kinda how all their lyrics are.

^ that's a really admirable goal! i used to be really scared of criticism and not like to share my opinions, but over time i've kind of come to develop the idea that i'll just put my thoughts out there and if people don't like me for that then they're probably not someone i would've wanted to be around anyway. it's freeing but maybe i have the opposite problem now in that i'm too uncompromising :pensiverat:
